min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>According to data analyzed \u2063by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/push-for-high-density-housing-rooted-in-racial-and-environmental-agendas\/\" title=\"Push for High-Density Housing Rooted in Racial and Environmental Agendas\">nonprofit public policy organization<\/a>, between 2020\u200b and 2022, \u2062Miami-Dade\u2019s population decreased by \u206379,535 as a\u200d result \u2062of migration\u200d to other regions of Florida or other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/miami-population-drops-for-first-time-in-over-50-years\/\" title=\"Miami's population declines for the first time in 50+ years.\">states\u200d amid high home prices<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Data\u2062 released by \u2063Zillow showed that Miami\u2019s home prices have also increased by 53% since June 2020, and\u2063 rent has increased by 27% since 2019. <\/p>\n<p>It was reported \u2064that 61% of renters pay \u206330% or \u200bmore of their salary to \u2063maintain\u200c a roof \u2062over \u200ctheir heads. <\/p>\n<p>According to the\u200c press, individuals \u200cmaking up to $150,000 \u200ba year are even struggling to get by.<\/p>\n<p>Real Estate Broker Jose Perez claims that he has lost half of \u2063his clients who earn between $70,000 and $150,000 annually because they are\u2062 living\u200c paycheck to \u200dpaycheck.<\/p>\n<p>The Wall \u2064Street\u2063 Journal (WSJ) reported that a couple recently sold their \u200c1,000 square\u2063 foot Miami home to relocate \u2063to a larger property in Ocala, \u2063Florida, which is nearly a four and a half hour drive. <\/p>\n<p>However, \u2062the husband is still forced to \u2064commute back-and-forth to Miami \u200deach week to work as a barber, and the wife is having trouble finding employment \u200dopportunities\u200c in her new neighborhood. <\/p>\n<p>Maria Ilcheva, the census \u200binformation center lead at Florida \u200bInternational University, expressed her opinions on the matter. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the middle class. It\u2019s our talent base. It\u2019s our college graduates moving out for better\u2063 opportunities \u2063elsewhere,\u201d Ilcheva maintained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Miami \u2062was already one of\u2062 the most expensive cities \u2062in America to\u2062 live in prior to the pandemic.
