It looks \u200blike the first son may have to take the fall to protect his dad, President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>How long till the \u2064media\u200c come for Devon Archer, Hunter Biden&#8217;s \u2064former best friend and\u200b business partner, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/congress\/biden-spoke-sons-business-associates-numerous-former-partner-tells-law-rcna97410\">testified<\/a> on Monday that the\u2063 president spoke to his son&#8217;s business partners on speakerphone &#8220;over \u206320 times&#8221;?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Then:<\/strong> \u2062 When\u200c news broke in \u200cJune that Hunter Biden had been given a sweetheart plea deal to wrap up an wide-ranging investigation by Joe\u200b Biden&#8217;s Justice Department, \u2062the\u2064 media \u200crushed to declare the\u2062 case closed. What\u2064 do these\u2062 jerks in the House want Joe Biden to do, \u200bthrow [Hunter Biden] out, refuse to speak to \u2063him, say he doesn\u2019t love him\u2064 publicly?&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Now: Media Turns on Hunter\u200b Biden, Defends\u200d President Joe Biden<\/h2>\n<p>After a series of developments in recent days credibly implicated Joe Biden in\u200b his\u2064 son&#8217;s scandals, the\u200d media pulled a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Motte-and-bailey_fallacy\">motte and bailey<\/a> and ditched Hunter Biden to defend the president, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/07\/27\/hunter-bidens-biz-partner-called-joe-biden-the-big-guy-in-panic-over-laptop\/\">aka<\/a> &#8220;the big guy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To review the news:\u2062 Archer <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/house-democrat-says-hunter-biden-called-his-father-during-business-meetings\/\">told<\/a> the House Oversight Committee under oath on \u2062Monday that Joe Biden \u200ctalked to his son&#8217;s foreign business partners all the \u200btime\u2014rather\u2063 than \u2064&#8221;never&#8221; as the \u2064White House had repeatedly claimed. Last week, a judge <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/white-house-says-hunter-investigation-handled-independently-after-judge-rejects-dojs-favorable-plea-deal\/\">refused<\/a> to &#8220;rubber stamp&#8221; the\u200c plea deal that would have given Hunter Biden\u2063 sweeping immunity. Before\u2064 that, two IRS whistleblowers <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/irs-whistleblower-x-reveals-identity-tells-congress-he-was-blocked-from-investigating-hunter-biden\/\">testified<\/a> that the Justice Department \u200dprotected \u200cHunter Biden\u2062 from being charged with felonies in the case.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <em>New York Times<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CNNPolitics\/status\/1686119590210748416\">CNN<\/a>, \u200dand <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NewsHour\/status\/1686160815638872064\">others<\/a>, the noteworthy part of Archer&#8217;s testimony was that \u2064he said \u2063Biden \u2063sold the \u2063&#8221;illusion&#8221;\u2064 of access to his father.
