The\u2063 conspiracy allegedly took place from November\u200d 14, 2020,\u200b to January 20, 2021, in the District of Columbia and elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>While the indictment does not \u2063mention the co-conspirators by name, it \u200didentifies them as attorneys and a &#8220;Justice Department official&#8221; \u200dwho attempted to use the DOJ \u2064to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/donald-trump-indicted-jack-smith-says-lies-by-the-defendant-led-to-jan-6\/\" title=\"Donald Trump indicted for Jan. 6 due to defendant's lies, says Jack Smith.\">open\u2062 sham election\u2063 crime investigations<\/a> and influence state legislators\u2062 with false \u200dclaims of\u2063 election fraud.
