The last \u200dbrick-and-mortar stores were set to close officially this weekend. <\/p>\n<p>Johnson\u2063 is confident that his strategy to rebrand will pay off.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cOur view is bad management can kill companies, but\u2064 it doesn\u2019t kill brands,\u201d he said. \u201cThe Bed Bath brand\u2063 is still strongly associated with home,\u200c and\u200d still much loved.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Johnson also indicated that\u2062 physical stores are not in the\u2064 current plan, but are not 100% ruled out. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cNever say never,\u201d said Johnson.\u2062 \u201cWe\u2019re focused on this \u2063transition now and we like our asset-light business\u200c model\u2026.
