Donald Trump is not running\u2063 for president to make America great again. Donald Trump is not running for\u2062 president to represent the people that \u2064voted for him in 2016 and 2020. Donald\u200b Trump is running to\u200d stay out of prison,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Hurd\u200c was loudly\u200b booed to the point he needed to stop his speech.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know, I \u200bknow, I know, I know, I know. Listen, I\u200b know \u2063the truth \u2013 the truth is hard,\u201d\u2062 he said, trying to speak over the raspberries. \u201cBut\u2062 if we elect Donald\u2063 Trump, we are willingly giving Joe Biden four more years in the White\u2063 House and America can\u2019t handle that.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGod\u2063 bless you, and God bless America,\u201d he concluded, \u2063with one foot \u2062already out the door.<\/p>\n<p>Current Texas congressman \u2014 and former White House physician \u2014 Ronny Jackson took to social media to comment call\u200d Hurd an \u201cEMBARRASSMENT\u201d to both the Republican Party \u201cand to the GREAT state of Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Liberal Will Hurd is an EMBARRASSMENT to the Republican Party and to\u2062 the GREAT state of Texas! Whatever that meant!<\/p>\n<p>Faux-conservative co-host Ana \u2063Navarro \u2014 recently seen comparing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis \u2064to watching porn on a loop \u2014 said that \u201cthere are several [truth-telling Republicans] \u200d running,\u201d but \u201cthey\u2019re \u2063not doing very well.\u201d Gosh, I wonder why.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWill is one of them. Asa Hutchinson is one of them. Chris Christie,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, they\u2019re doing \u2062very bad, all right \u2014 these \u201ctruth-telling Republicans.\u201d Combined, the three contenders \u2062for \u2063the GOP nomination constituted 3.2 percent of \u2062the RealClearPolitics polling aggregate \u2064as of Tuesday, and most of\u2064 that is former New Jersey Gov. Christie\u2019s 2.4 percent. that Trump is running for president to stay out of prison is\u2064 truly daffy; he\u2019s running because a) he \u2063wants to be president again and b) Republicans, in large part, want to see that, as well.<\/p>\n<p>GOP\u2062 voters in Des Moines and elsewhere know \u2062how to read \u200ca \u200bpoll and know that the candidates toeing the Liz \u200bCheney line are doing \u2062even\u2064 worse than DeSantis, somehow.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s insulting to those voters to claim \u2063that four candidates out \u2063of the clown car who are\u200b getting 7.5 percent of the\u2062 vote in the aggregate \u2014 the three Navarro mentioned plus former Vice\u200c President Mike Pence \u2063at 4.3 percent \u2014 are somehow brave truth-tellers because they\u2019re flogging the front-runner hard.<\/p>\n<p>No, \u200dthey\u2019re not: They\u2019re trying to generate attention\u2063 any way they can. They\u2019re not going to get it\u2064 on the right,\u2064 so they might as well land themselves \u200don CNN or \u201cThe View\u201d to get some mainstream media praise and establishment clout before their dim light dies.<\/p>\n<p>This couldn\u2019t be any more \u200btransparent if Will Hurd started sleeping in \u200ca cot inside MSNBC\u2019s studios, a la Michael Avenatti.
