Barrett\u2064 Prettyman United States Courthouse in Washington, with Tuesdays and Thursdays being the customary meeting days. PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT!\u201d Trump wrote \u200bMonday.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Anticipation surrounding the\u2063 investigation has been steadily\u2062 mounting since July 16, when Trump disclosed that he had received a target \u2063letter in connection with the\u2062 Jan. 6 probe. According to a Politico reporter, the courthouse was filled with\u2062 &#8220;high anxiety&#8221;\u200b on Tuesday, as the media eagerly \u2062awaited news.<\/p>\n<p>In Trump&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-jan-6-indictment-could-be-forthcoming-as-former-president-renews-warnings\/\" title=\"Possible indictment for Trump on Jan. 6 as ex-president issues renewed warnings.\">previous case involving classified documents<\/a> in a Florida federal court, he received a \u200bletter \u2063from special counsel Jack Smith&#8217;s \u2064team\u200c on May 19. Roughly 20 days later, on June 8, he was indicted \u200cin that case.<\/p>\n<p>Last Thursday, while the grand jury was in session, Trump&#8217;s attorneys\u2064 met with members of Smith&#8217;s office \u200bin the district. The new \u200dindictment included a \u200ccharge of \u200cwillful retention of documents and two \u200dobstruction\u2062 charges, alleging that Trump colluded \u2063with two co-defendants in an attempt to delete surveillance footage from Mar-a-Lago.<\/p>\n<p>One of Trump&#8217;s co-defendants,\u200c Walt Nauta, was already involved in the case. However, the superseding indictment introduced \u200cCarlos de Oliveira, a Mar-a-Lago employee, as\u2064 a new co-defendant.<\/p>\n<p>De Oliveira made his initial appearance in federal court in Miami on Monday, but his arraignment was postponed until August 10 due to the absence \u2064of a local\u200b attorney. He was released on a $100,000 bond and ordered to surrender his passport.<\/p>\n<p>Outside the realm \u200dof federal jurisdiction, another potential \u2064indictment\u2062 looms for Trump in Fulton County, Georgia. District Attorney Fani Willis has informed court officials\u2064 that she may bring charges as early as the first half of August\u2063 in \u2063her separate investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Reports suggest\u200b that the\u2063 grand jury in Fulton County has multiple indictments related \u2063to conspiracy or racketeering, with indications that Trump himself could be among \u2063the defendants.
