In May the\u2062 World Economic\u2063 Forum held its\u200c annual summit, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/op-ed-week-elites-switzerland-set-stage-cashless-society-1-world-government\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">convened<\/a> in Switzerland, and one of the items on \u2063the agenda was a\u200b world digital currency.<\/p>\n<p>The WEF was pushing\u2062 its Digital Currency \u2062Governance Consortium and wants to implement \u200da cashless society that relies entirely on government agencies and banks, \u2064and\u200c which would operate on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/world-economic-forum-speaker-reveals-true-power-behind-governments-digital-currencies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">digital currencies<\/a> issued and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/atheist-oncologist-returns-to-faith-while-treating-cancer-patients-science-proves-the-existence-of-higher-power\/\" title=\"Atheist Oncologist Returns to Faith While Treating Cancer Patients: Science Proves the Existence of Higher Power\">controlled solely<\/a>\u200b by governments and central banks.<\/p>\n<p>On its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2022\/03\/where-is-cryptocurrency-regulation-heading\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>, the WEF says \u200bthere are more than 18,000 cryptocurrencies causing chaos and\u2064 adds that \u201ccryptocurrency regulation is imperative\u201d and that \u201ca \u2063globally coordinated \u2063approach to \u2063regulation is necessary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In other words, the WEF says governments and central banks should control all digital\u2062 crypto transactions. However, that would defeat the purpose that cryptocurrencies\u2063 were created for in the first place.<\/p>\n<p>Total government control over our means of engaging in commerce and security is already being \u2063tagged as\u200d a \u201cmark of the beast,\u201d referring \u2062to the warning in\u200c the Bible\u2019s Book \u200cof Revelation that speaks\u200c of \u200cthe end times.<\/p>\n<p>But it\u2019s hard to fault the logic for\u2064 aspiring tyrants. After all, electronic currencies fully\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/government-restricts-atm-withdrawals-45-per-day-bid-force-digital-transactions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">controlled<\/a> by \u2063the government means that you, the\u2064 citizen, will only have \u201cmoney\u201d\u2062 when the\u2064 government says you do. That \u200balso means the government can stop you\u200c from \u200busing what \u201cmoney\u201d it claims you have in your account, \u200dit can summarily take that money away from you at any time, and can completely control what it is \u201cworth\u201d and what it can buy.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, \u200csuch\u200b a \u2062system would\u200b be chimerical in \u200dall \u2062respects.\u2063 None of it would be based on\u200b anything tangible and would rely on things\u2064 that can change at the will \u200bof\u200c those in control. It will have no intrinsic value at all.<\/p>\n<p>Worse, it is the perfect means to control you. With digital currency,\u2062 the government knows where \u200cyou are when you are spending it, how\u2063 much \u2063you are spending, and what you are buying. Such information can\u2063 be used to track you down\u200c at a moment\u2019s notice and control what you are \u201callowed\u201d to own.<\/p>\n<p>Did you \u200cbuy\u200b too much food? You\u2019ll be shut down. Did\u2064 you buy a gun or ammo? \u2064You\u2019ll\u200d be \u2063put on a watch list. Did you buy a book the elites don\u2019t like? You\u2019ll \u2063be branded an \u201cinsurrectionist.\u201d And in all cases, your whereabouts are pinpointed any\u200b time the\u200b government feels that you need to be taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p>China already\u2063 has a\u200d digital currency and bans the use of other cryptocurrencies, and the Biden administration is also \u200bworking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-taking-massive-step-put-americans-digital-currency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">implement<\/a> such a system.<\/p>\n<p>So, whether you are a \u200bfan of Britain\u2019s Piers Corbyn\u2062 or\u200d not, \u200dhe certainly has\u200d a point about the dangers of the\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-man-refuses-to-accept-stores-cashless-agenda-is-told-the-police-are-on-their-way\/\" title=\"Video: Man rejects store's cashless policy, warned of police arrival.\">surveillance\u200d state taking control<\/a> of our \u2063currency.
