This information was\u200b provided \u200bby a source familiar with Archer&#8217;s testimony.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2018, Joe \u200bBiden himself recounted \u2062how he secured \u200cthe removal of the prosecutor during a meeting with\u200b Ukrainian officials, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/lawandcrime.com\/high-profile\/biden-reportedly-bragged-about-the-firing-of-a-prosecutor-who-was-investigating-his-sons-firm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Law and\u200d Crime<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2062 looked at them\u200d and said, &#8216;I&#8217;m leaving\u200d in six hours.\u200b If the prosecutor is not fired, you&#8217;re not\u200d getting the money.&#8217; Well, son of a b****. He got \u200dfired,&#8221; Biden said at the time. The money referred to was U.S. aid to Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>During his testimony, Archer \u200drevealed that Hunter Biden made at \u2062least 20 calls\u200b to Washington, D.C., in an effort to promote &#8220;the brand,&#8221; \u2062according to Fox&#8217;s source. \u2062Burisma\u2062 officials allegedly pressured Hunter Biden \u2064to seek assistance from \u2064Washington, D.C.,\u2064 to undermine Shokin&#8217;s \u200cinvestigation.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2015, both Hunter\u2063 Biden and Burisma officials contacted Washington, D.C., regarding the matter.
