And second, did he violate\u200d the actual law?<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Did Trump Violate the Law?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Let&#8217;s \u2062address the second question first, based on the \u2063allegations presented by\u200d the indictment. If Jack Smith has\u2064 the\u2063 evidence to support those\u2064 allegations (and it seems he does), then yes,\u2063 Trump did violate\u200b the law.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The current version of the indictment\u200c highlights a tape where Trump shows classified\u200b documents to individuals \u200bwithout security clearance. He had the\u2062 power \u2062to declassify them, but chose not to. Initially, Trump claimed that the document \u2064he showed them wasn&#8217;t \u200bclassified,\u200c but Jack \u200dSmith now alleges that they were indeed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/game-over-for-jack-smith-attorney-says-trump-can-file-one-motion-that-would-change-everything\/\" title=\"Attorney claims Trump's single motion could alter Jack Smith's 'Game Over' situation.\">classified \u200cdocuments<\/a>. \u200dIf \u2064witness testimony proves this, Trump&#8217;s defense on that matter falls apart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Furthermore, the indictment \u2062alleges that another \u2063Trump aide, a maintenance person at Mar-a-Lago, attempted to destroy evidence of\u200c Trump&#8217;s \u200bpeople handling\u2063 classified documents. It\u2063 also claims that Trump ordered the\u2062 security tapes to be wiped. These actions align with Smith&#8217;s accusation of \u2062obstruction.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Should Trump Be Prosecuted?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now, let&#8217;s address the \u2062first question:\u200d should Trump be prosecuted?\u2064 The answer is no. He should not be prosecuted. In 2016, Hillary \u2064Clinton was not\u200d charged for the same crimes\u2064 Trump \u2063is now accused of, including wiping servers and exposing classified information to \u200dunauthorized individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Remember when Clinton instructed her immigrant maid to print out\u2063 classified information and\u2063 even enter a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dem-civil-war-erupts-with-name-calling-leaks\/\" title=\"Dem Civil War Erupts With Name-Calling, Leaks\">sensitive compartmented information facility<\/a> (SCIF) to pick up classified faxes, including the Presidential Daily Brief? Remember when Clinton&#8217;s tech firm used\u200d BleachBit to erase her private server&#8217;s classified emails, and she joked about it, asking if it had been wiped &#8220;like with a cloth&#8221;?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Yet Clinton was not prosecuted.\u2063 Why? Because, as then-FBI \u2064Director James Comey stated, despite the possibility of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-charges-against-trump-added-should-he-be-prosecuted\/\" title=\"Trump faces new charges. It\u200b poses a greater threat to our\u2063 country \u200bthan Trump&#8217;s mishandling of classified information, which was not driven by \u200cany malicious security threat, but \u2063rather by Trump&#8217;s tendency \u2062to hoard materials he personally likes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If half the country rightly believes that\u200b when Republicans commit\u2063 crimes, \u200dthey\u2062 go\u2062 to\u2063 jail, but when \u2063Democrats commit crimes, they get lenient plea deals, the credibility\u2063 of our\u200d entire justice system crumbles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Interestingly, new charges were brought against Trump\u2062 the day after Hunter Biden received\u200c a favorable\u2063 plea deal, embarrassing the Department of Justice in \u200dthe\u200d process. The irony is not lost on anyone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So,\u200d no, Trump should not be\u200c prosecuted.
