He emphasized that the Supreme Court was not created \u200bby Congress, further\u200b reinforcing his\u2062 argument.<\/p>\n<p>These remarks from\u200c Alito came in response \u2063to the Senate Judiciary \u200cCommittee&#8217;s advancement of a \u2062bill proposing an ethics code for \u2064the Court.
