Musk&#8217;s lawyers sent a letter \u2064to the \u2063center on \u200cJuly 20, accusing them of\u200b spreading falsehoods about X and hateful speech\u2062 on the platform.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Elon Musk&#8217;s actions represent\u2062 a\u2063 brazen \u200cattempt to silence honest criticism \u2062and\u2063 independent research,&#8221; said Imran Amhed, CEO of the Center for Countering Digital Hate.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The letter, which was released on Monday, claims that the center has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/georgia-gop-governor-rips-mlb-for-caving-to-cancel-culture-says-president-biden-is-lying-about-voting-reform-bill\/\" title=\"Georgia GOP Governor Rips MLB For \u2018Caving To Cancel Culture,\u2019 Says President Biden Is \u2018Lying\u2019 About Voting Reform Bill\">made false statements<\/a> about X in eight papers \u2063over the past\u200c year. One of these \u2063reports\u2064 alleged that X had failed to moderate \u200dcontent from the majority of Twitter Blue accounts identified as &#8220;tweeting \u2063hate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;A series of troubling and baseless claims that appear calculated to harm X generally, and its digital advertising \u2064business specifically,&#8221; the letter stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In\u2062 addition, \u200bthe letter alleged that the\u2064 center was funded by X&#8217;s competitors, who had \u2062an ulterior \u2062agenda in supporting the organization.<\/p>\n<p>This is \u200bnot the first \u200ctime Musk&#8217;s \u200clawyers have\u2064 been busy issuing threats.\u200c In June, Musk sent a letter\u2064 to Meta, \u200daccusing them of copying trade\u2064 secrets in the\u2063 construction \u200dof Instagram Threads.\u200c Another letter was sent to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, alleging\u2064 the improper use of X data.<\/p>\n<p>Despite these legal battles, Musk remains undeterred in \u200chis plans for X. In June, he hired \u200bLinda \u2063Yaccarino, a former NBCUniversal advertising executive, as the company&#8217;s new \u200cCEO. Yaccarino will lead the company&#8217;s initiative\u2064 to transform\u200d into an\u200b &#8220;everything app.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, \u200cX\u200b is also \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tufts-student-government-walks-back-impeachment-of-pro-israel-member\/\" title=\"Tufts Student Government Walks Back Impeachment of Pro-Israel Member\">facing legal pressure<\/a> from multiple lawsuits.
