Sixty-one percent of Americans said \u200cthe word <strong>\u201cstruggling\u201d<\/strong> described \u200bthe\u2062 economy,\u2063 56% said <strong>\u201cuncertain,\u201d<\/strong> \u200c36% \u2063said <strong>\u201cunfair,\u201d<\/strong> 27% said <strong>\u201cpunishing.\u201d<\/strong> Meanwhile, just \u200c15% said it could be described as <strong>\u201crebounding,\u201d<\/strong> \u2062 and 11% said it could \u2063be \u2064described as <strong>\u201cexpanding.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The poll also \u2064indicates that 70% of U.S. adults say that their salary is not keeping up with inflation. Meanwhile, 65% said they would rate the U.S. economy as very bad. Fifty-eight \u2063percent say that it\u2019s getting worse.<\/p>\n<p>Most\u2064 adults \u2062are dissatisfied with the way Biden has handled the economy. The president has a measly 34% approval rating on the economy.<\/p>\n<p>Folks like former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_7nnyMHUUys\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> in recent weeks that the American people simply don\u2019t know\u2062 how much Biden has \u2064done\u200d for them as\u2063 president.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt has to be\u2062 messaged,\u201d Pelosi said of Biden\u2019s alleged accomplishments. \u201cHe just has to get out \u2064there,\u201d she added. \u201d It\u2019s a busy job being president, I can say\u2063 that as being speaker. You\u2019re doing your work, but\u2062 he\u2019s just going to\u200b have to make \u2064sure the American people know at that kitchen table what this means to\u200d them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, most Americans know that the pain they feel in their wallet isn\u2019t \u2064imaginary. In fact, it\u200d especially hits \u200cthem\u200b at the \u201ckitchen table\u201d \u2062where \u2062they are reminded \u2064every night that the cost of their food just keeps\u200b going up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ers.usda.gov\/data-products\/food-price-outlook\/summary-findings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">year after year<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In terms \u2062of getting his message \u201cout there,\u201d only 41%\u2063 of U.S. adults have\u200d even heard about Bidenomics. Of those who have, 50%\u200b said <strong>\u201chigher inflation\u201d<\/strong> comes to mind while\u2062 49% said they think\u2064 of <strong>\u201ctax increases\u201d<\/strong> when they hear the term, CBS \u200creported.<\/p>\n<p>Since Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/when-people-hear-bidenomics-they-think-higher-inflation-and-tax-increases\/\" title=\"'Bidenomics' evokes concerns of increased inflation and taxes.\">economic policy \u200brevolves primarily<\/a> around government spending\u200d \u2014 which\u2063 leads \u200dto\u2063 inflation \u2063\u2014 and\u2063 raising taxes, it\u2019s difficult to see how he\u2019s going to shed the negative connotation associated with Bidenomics.<\/p>\n<p>In recent weeks, the\u200d president \u200dhas been trying\u200d to do a better job\u2062 selling his policies to the American \u200bpeople.<\/p>\n<p>For \u200dexample, \u2063Biden touted how his plans\u2064 have helped \u2064manufacturing in Maine.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cFolks,\u2063 that\u2019s Bidenomics,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2023\/07\/28\/remarks-by-president-biden-on-helping-workers-and-innovators-invent-and-make-more-in-america-auburn-me\/#:~:text=Folks%2C%20that's%20Bidenomics.,and%20supply%20chains%20moved%20overseas.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> the\u200d crowd. \u201cIt\u2019s about\u2062 growing\u2064 the economy, strengthening the middle class, making things in America again.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Yet, the data indicate that Maine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bls.gov\/charts\/state-employment-and-unemployment\/one-year-percent-change-in-employment-average-weekly-hours-and-average-weekly-earnings.htm\">has lost 0.5 percent<\/a> of \u200bits manufacturing jobs between June 2022 and June 2023, per\u200b CBS News.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, Biden\u200c can call the economy whatever he wants \u2014 but the facts speak for themselves.
