Republican Sen. Pete Ricketts of Nebraska voiced concerns about the potential weaponization of the justice system against\u2063 President Biden&#8217;s political\u200c opponents while his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/is-hunters-legal-team-in-hot-water-senator-calls-for-investigation-into-unethical-behavior\/\" title=\"Senator Demands Investigation Into Alleged Unethical Conduct by Hunter's Legal Team\">son receives preferential treatment<\/a>. \u200dAccording to Fox News, Ricketts stated, &#8220;There needs to be accountability for any misconduct or \u200bfavoritism, including Hunter Biden&#8217;s\u200c own legal team. He filed an amicus brief in U.S. District Court in Wilmington, Delaware, urging Judge Maryellen Noreika\u200d to consider information gathered\u200d in the House probe of Hunter Biden before sentencing him, as reported by The New York Times.<\/p>\n<p>However, the filing\u200d was taken down after Hunter Biden&#8217;s defense team contacted a \u2063court clerk about the \u2062inclusion of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tax-filing-software-sent-sensitive-user-information-to-facebook-report\/\" title=\"Tax Filing Software Sent Sensitive User Information to Facebook: Report\">personal tax information<\/a>.
