Comer\u200c is seeking transparency and is \u2062asking for all relevant documents and communications related to the art purchase,\u2063 Naftali&#8217;s appointment, and her visits to the \u2064White House.<\/p>\n<h3>Documents and Information\u200c Requested<\/h3>\n<p>The committee is asking Delery to provide:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All documents \u200band communications between or\u2063 among the White House, Georges Berg\u00e9s, the Georges \u2063Berg\u00e9s Gallery, \u2063and Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali<\/li>\n<li>All documents \u2062and communications from any\u2064 federal\u200d employee\u2062 regarding\u200c the purchase of Hunter \u2063Biden&#8217;s art<\/li>\n<li>All documents and communications from any federal employee regarding Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali&#8217;s appointment to the Commission<\/li>\n<li>All documents and communications regarding \u2062Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali&#8217;s visits to the White House since December 2021<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Comer has also\u200c sent a similar letter to\u2062 Naftali herself, \u2064requesting documents and information regarding her purchase of Hunter Biden&#8217;s \u200cart and\u2063 any communications related to \u2064her White \u2064House visits.<\/p>\n<p>Both Naftali and Delery \u200bhave until August 11 to produce the requested\u200b information for the committee.<\/p>\n<p>This \u2062investigation \u200dcomes at a time of intense scrutiny of the Biden family&#8217;s finances and business dealings. One example is the \u2063transfer of $3 million\u2064 from a Chinese\u200d company\u2063 to an account\u200c belonging to Hunter Biden&#8217;s business associate, which eventually led \u200dto payments to Biden family members.<\/p>\n<p>The sale of Hunter Biden&#8217;s artwork is just\u2062 one \u2063aspect of the ongoing investigation.
