In addition, alcohol and alprazolam \u2014 the drug contained in the anti-anxiety medication Xanax \u2014 were listed on his toxicology report.<\/p>\n<p>Lewis was\u200c 28.<\/p>\n<p>The initial report of his death came from Lewis\u2019 brother, Rahsaan, in an Instagram Story, which automatically deletes after 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2023\/06\/15\/ray-lewis-son-ray-lewis-iii-dead-28\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TMZ<\/a> at \u2062the time, he \u2064wrote: \u201cReally can\u2019t believe I\u2019m even typing this but RIP big brother. A\u200d true angel I pray\u200c [you\u2019re] at peace now because\u200b [I know] \u2063 how much you [were really] hurtin. I don\u2019t and won\u2019t ever have the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ray-lewis-iii-son-of-hall-of-fame-linebacker-dies-at-age-28\/\" title=\"Ray Lewis III, son of Hall of Fame linebacker, passes away at 28.\">words man cuz<\/a> this pain right\u200b here\u2026.I love you I love\u200d you I \u200dlove you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rahsaan Lewis \u200cthen \u2062appeared\u2062 to refer to his own daughter while processing his grief.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour niece gone miss you but she will hear about u over and over \u200djust \u200dwatch over us all big bruh be our guardian I promise I\u2019ll make you \u200bsmile\u2063 and \u200cproud,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Lewis had\u200b carved out a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cause-of-death-revealed-for-ray-lewis-iii-son-of-hall-of-fame-linebacker\/\" title=\"Ray Lewis III's cause of death disclosed\">short football career<\/a> that had\u2063 a clear \u200dimpact on those around\u2062 him.<\/p>\n<p>Lewis signed with\u2064 the University of Miami out of high school but didn\u2019t play \u2062as a freshman. \u2063In 2015, he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baltimoresun.com\/sports\/ravens\/bal-ray-lewis-iii-transferring-from-miami-to-coastal-carolina-20150106-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">transferred to Coastal\u200d Carolina<\/a>, \u200dand two years later he moved \u200con to Division II Virginia Union.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia \u2063Union associate head football coach Diego Ryland told TMZ that he was a \u201cgreat young man and a better teammate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe entire Virginia Union \u2062University community is praying for the family as they deal with the loss of Ray,\u201d Ryland said.<\/p>\n<p>Condolences and prayers poured in \u200cacross social\u200d media as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/roger-stone-announces-he-will-sue-those-who-arrested-him-and-put-him-in-front-of-a-kangaroo-court\/\" title=\"Roger Stone Announces He Will Sue Those Who Arrested Him and Put Him In Front of a Kangaroo Court\">outlets reported<\/a> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-administration-converting-third-convention-center-to-illegal-immigrant-holding-facility\/\" title=\"Biden Administration Converting Third Convention Center to Illegal Immigrant Holding Facility\">young man\u2019<\/a>s untimely death.<\/p>\n<p>Former Ravens quarterback and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nfl-crawls-bed-lgbt-radicals-deserve-0-17-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NFL<\/a> Offensive\u2064 Rookie \u200bof the\u2062 Year Robert Griffin (currently an analyst for\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/espn-analyst-halts-show-pray-live-tv-going-loud-going-close-eyes-going-bow-head\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ESPN<\/a>) was one\u200d of the first big \u200cnames\u2062 to take to \u200csocial\u200d media \u200bto pray\u2064 for Lewis and his family.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Send a prayer up for Ray\u200d Lewis and his family after\u2064 the passing of his son.
