GARM\u2062 aims to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-revokes-trumps-order-targeting-online-censorship\/\" title=\"Biden Revokes Trump\u2019s Order Targeting Online Censorship\">address harmful content<\/a> on\u200b digital \u200bmedia platforms and\u2063 its monetization through advertising.<\/p>\n<p>Notable members of GARM include \u200bMeta, ABInBev,\u2062 American Express, Kellog&#8217;s, Microsoft, Merck,\u200b Snapchat, The Walt Disney Company, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>GARM\u2062 has also \u2063established the Brand Safety Floor and Suitability Framework, which defines content not appropriate for advertising support.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Think \u200dof <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sen-warren-facebook-is-not-above-the-law\/\" title=\"Sen. However, NewsGuard has\u200b faced criticism for favoring left-wing \u200dmedia \u200ccompanies and downplaying the \u200ccredibility\u2064 of certain theories, such as the \u2062COVID lab leak theory.<\/p>\n<p>These guidelines for regulating\u2064 misinformation have even affected independent content creators. Shapiro mentions \u2063his\u200c friend Matt Walsh, who was demonetized on YouTube and TikTok\u200b for expressing views that contradict the approved narrative.<\/p>\n<p>The\u200b partnership between GARM and the WFA has raised concerns among lawmakers.
