Her \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/carlee-russells-attorney-confirms-he-expects-her-to-be-charged-over-kidnapping-hoax-report\/\" title=\"Carlee Russell's lawyer anticipates charges in kidnapping hoax, says report.\">disappearance lasted<\/a> for 49 hours.<\/p>\n<p>The Hoover Police Department said that after conferring with the Jefferson\u200c County District \u2062Attorney\u2019s Office in Bessemer \u2063and presenting all of \u200dthe known \u200bfacts to \u2062them, the case was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-manchin-considering-proposal-to-lower-60-vote-filibuster-threshold\/\" title=\"Joe Manchin Considering Proposal To Lower 60-Vote Filibuster Threshold\">referred back<\/a>\u200c to\u2064 the Hoover \u200bMunicipal Court for charging.<\/p>\n<p>Russell was charged with two Class A misdemeanors: False Reporting to Law\u2063 Enforcement Authorities \u200cand Falsely Reporting an Incident.<\/p>\n<p>If convicted on both charges, Russell faces up to two years in\u200c jail and a $12,000 fine. Bond was\u200b set at $2,000.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHer decisions that\u200c night\u200d created panic and alarm for the citizens of\u2062 our city and even across\u2063 the nation as\u200b concern grew that a kidnapper was on the loose using a small child as bait,\u201d said Hoover\u200c Police Chief Nicholas C.
