His lawyers argue that Willis, as a political candidate, presents a\u2063 conflict of interest \u200cand should be disqualified from the case.<\/p>\n<p>The filing states, &#8220;She has personally \u200binserted \u2064herself into\u200d Twitter campaigns\u200d requesting donations and followers while referencing her prosecution of this case.&#8221; Trump&#8217;s \u2062attorneys\u200b claim that\u2062 Willis is\u200b using the\u200d case to\u2064 fundraise for her reelection campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Willis\u200b has previously hinted at \u200dthe \u200bpossibility of\u2063 bringing charges \u200cagainst individuals who \u200cquestioned Georgia&#8217;s 2020 \u200belection results.
