D.A.\u2019s Husband Who Pulled A Gun On A BLM Leader Requests Diversion To Avoid Jail\">avoid jail time<\/a> \u200bfor a felony gun charge, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/inside-3-hour-hearing-destroyed-hunter-bidens-plea-deal-really-bad-everyone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fell apart<\/a> under U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika\u2019s questioning Wednesday in Wilmington, \u200dDelaware.<\/p>\n<p>Even if the parties are able to come to\u200c a revised agreement without the promise of broad immunity from future charges \u2014 an aspect of the deal initially hidden and brought to light through the judge\u2019s questions \u2014 Hunter Biden would be getting a better deal than others who committed\u200c similar offenses, legal experts said after it collapsed.<\/p>\n<h3>A Sweetheart Deal<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cArguably, there could have been additional tax\u2064 charges,\u201d Julianne\u200c Murray, lawyer for the Heritage\u200d Foundation and Delaware GOP chairwoman, told the DCNF.<\/p>\n<p>Murray noted failure to pay charges\u200b like Biden\u2019s are often accompanied by a \u200c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/federal-prosecutors-weighing-4-criminal-charges-against-hunter-biden-report\/\" title=\"Federal Prosecutors Weighing 4 Criminal Charges Against Hunter Biden: Report\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-bidens-lawyers-meet-with-federal-prosecutors-to-discuss-potential-forthcoming-charges-report\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden\u2019s Lawyers Meet With Federal Prosecutors To Discuss Potential Forthcoming Charges: Report\">felony tax evasion<\/a> charge<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In other \u2064cases, she said, \u200bsimilar failure\u2064 to pay charges have been considered a felony rather than a misdemeanor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s still considered\u200c a sweetheart deal compared to what\u2064 somebody\u2064 else would be expecting,\u201d Murray said.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney Sol Wisenberg opined on X, formerly called Twitter, that the agreement\u2063 would be a sweetheart \u2063deal even if the parties are able to \u201chammer out an honest deal\u201d without the broad immunity provision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnder\u2062 the Plea Agreement there is a probation \u200crecommendation from the government on \u2062the tax counts,\u200b even \u2062though Hunter\u2019s \u200cmisdemeanor Guidelines range calls for at least 24-30 months and even though he was going to be charged with felony tax evasion until Biden\u2019s DOJ nixed \u2062it,\u201d he tweeted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe probation \u2063recommendation is NOT binding on the Court, but \u200dany sentence she imposes on a misdemeanor tax count \u200cwill be capped at one year\u200b per each count. So,\u2064 the judge could have accepted the\u200d Plea \u200bAgreement and still sentenced Hunter\u2063 to 2 years, \u200ddespite the government\u2019s probation recommendation,\u201d Wisenberg\u2062 said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">We now \u200dhave the plea papers, no thanks to the government, and here is \u2062a very short version of what\u2064 they\u2062 say.<\/p>\n<p>1.
