According to a report, Saudi Arabia and Israel may <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">establish diplomatic relations<\/a>,\u200d but with certain conditions from Israel.<\/p>\n<p><em>New York Times<\/em> columnist Thomas Friedman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/07\/27\/opinion\/israel-saudi-arabia-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/despite-insistence-by-democrat-politicians-and-medical-elites-empirical-evidence-does-not-conclusively-show-that-masks-reduce-the-spread-of-covid\/\" title=\"Despite Insistence by Democrat Politicians and Medical Elites, Empirical Evidence DOES NOT Conclusively Show that Masks Reduce the Spread of COVID\">biden<\/a>.html&#8221; target=&#8221;_blank&#8221; rel=&#8221;noopener&#8221;>reported<\/a> Thursday that a U.S. diplomatic \u2064team and Saudi \u2064leader Mohammed bin Salman are \u200bdiscussing &#8220;a U.S.-Saudi \u200dmutual security \u200cpact.&#8221; Under this pact, Saudi \u200dArabia would normalize relations with Israel, but only if Israel agrees to \u200cmake concessions to the Palestinians that would preserve the possibility of a two-state solution.<\/p>\n<p>Friedman\u200c believes that\u200d this \u2062deal \u200dcould be a game changer for the region, but \u200bit comes with costs for Israel. In exchange for\u200b Israeli-Saudi normalization, Friedman proposes \u200dthat Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu promises &#8220;not to annex the\u200c West Bank\u2014ever,&#8221;\u200b refrains from building &#8220;no\u200c new West Bank settlements,&#8221; and\u200c transfers parts \u2064of \u200bthe West Bank under Israeli control to the Palestinian \u2064Authority&#8217;s control.<\/p>\n<p>However, Friedman acknowledges that achieving \u2063success with this deal would be challenging, especially considering the current state of the Palestinian Authority, which is &#8220;a mess&#8221; and &#8220;in\u2063 no position to\u2063 engage in peace talks with Israel today.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This\u2062 is not the first time President Biden has sought to engage Saudi Arabia. Prior to\u2064 last year&#8217;s midterm elections,\u200d Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/biden-let-america-get-bullied-by-saudis-leaked-docs-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pleaded<\/a> with Saudi leaders to delay their decision to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/opec-to-cut-oil-production-slightly\/\" title=\"OPEC+ to Cut Oil Production Slightly\">cut oil production<\/a>, as reported by the \u200d <em>Washington \u2064Free Beacon<\/em>. Despite promising &#8220;consequences&#8221; for their refusal, Biden never followed through with the threat and even praised the Saudis for their efforts\u2062 in advancing U.S. interests.<\/p>\n<p>In April and <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/saudi-arabia-plans-to-cut-oil-production-again-after-no-consequences-from-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">June<\/a>, the \u2063Saudis once again <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/charles-gasparino-putin-played-jerome-powell\/\" title=\"Charles Gasparino: Putin Played Jerome Powell\">reduced oil production<\/a>, leading to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/house-republicans-reveal-the-one-policy-they-want-biden-to-announce-at-state-of-the-union\/\" title=\"House Republicans Reveal The One Policy They Want Biden To Announce At State Of The Union\">increased energy prices<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>During a\u200d recent address \u2063to\u2064 the \u2064U.S. Congress, Israeli president Isaac Herzog\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/national-security\/herzog-blasts-dem-anti-semitism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">highlighted<\/a> the \u2064potential for an Israeli-Saudi deal, describing it as a &#8220;sea change&#8221; in the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>However, Herzog emphasized that achieving peace with the Palestinians is currently impossible due to the Palestinian Authority&#8217;s involvement\u200c in terrorism and the killing of\u2062 Israeli citizens, as reported by the <em>Free Beacon<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Salman are discussing a potential agreement where Saudi Arabia acknowledges Israel, with certain conditions from Israel.
