Version: 4.0.47--><div>\n<div>\n<figure>\n      <!-- Image goes here --><br \/>\n    <\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<h2>The Truth Behind Joe Biden&#8217;s Denial of Business Dealings\u200b with His \u200bSon<\/h2>\n<p>In the months leading up to the 2020 election, President Joe Biden\u2063 denied on multiple occasions that he ever discussed \u2064business with his son.<\/p>\n<p>One\u2063 of Joe\u2019s most infamous and\u2063 specific lies was, \u201cMy \u200bson has not made money in terms\u2064 of this thing about \u2014 \u2063what are you \u200ctalking about \u2014 China,\u201d which he \u2064delivered from the stage during the second presidential debate in October 2020.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<div lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p><strong>Joe Biden INSISTED Hunter hadn\u2019t made money from China.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not\u200c what Hunter told a federal judge yesterday. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/I6cQSTv5Pr\">pic.twitter.com\/I6cQSTv5Pr<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>      \u2063 \u2014\u2062 RNC Research (@RNCResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1684733821701251072?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 28, 2023<\/a>\n    <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Five days before the debate, \u200dthe <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/10\/15\/new-york-post-report-emails-show-hunter-biden-sought-lucrative-deals-with-chinese-firm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New York Post reported<\/a> on emails from Hunter\u2019s abandoned laptop detailing\u200c how the \u2064younger Biden pursued business \u200cdeals with one \u200bof China\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/emails-hunter-biden-is-true-sheikh-of-washington\/\" title=\"Emails: Hunter Biden Is \u2018True Sheikh of Washington\u2019\">largest energy companies<\/a> \u200bin an attempt to cash in \u201cfor me and my family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u2064Post\u200d also uncovered evidence that\u200d some of these arrangements involve a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2020\/10\/14\/email-reveals-how-hunter-biden-introduced-ukrainian-biz-man-to-dad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">big guy<\/a>\u201d who \u200dsounded an awful lot like then-Vice President Joe.\u200d Hunter was going to get this mysterious man to exchange political favors \u200bfor millions of dollars, a fact which was <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/20\/heres-everything-in-the-damning-fd-1023-document-that-implicates-biden-in-an-international-bribery-scheme\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">later corroborated<\/a> by \u2063a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidens-my-son-has-not-made-money-on-china-debate-lie-isnt-looking-too-good-right-now\/\" title=\"Biden's false claim about his son's financial dealings with China is losing credibility.\">highly credible confidential\u200b human\u200d source<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When \u2064former President Donald Trump brought up\u200b the \u201claptop from hell\u201d onstage on October 20, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/v2-9mdnszte.thefederalist.com\/2020\/10\/22\/joe-biden-repeats-debunked-claim-that-latest-email-scandals-are-russian-election-interference\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">countered with \u200dconspiracies<\/a> that the laptop was Russian disinformation. Biden, Hunter, and \u200dthe FBI knew this was a lie but proceeded\u2064 to \u200btout it for months after the election anyway.<\/p>\n<p>NBC News\u2019 Kristen Welker, the debate moderator, did\u2063 not challenge Biden\u2019s\u200d claims.\u2062 Instead, she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.debates.org\/voter-education\/debate-transcripts\/october-22-2020-debate-transcript\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">steered<\/a> the squabbling men\u2064 \u201cto stay on the\u200d issue of race.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump previously\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/09\/30\/chris-wallace-just-gave-the-most-embarrassing-moderator-performance-in-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tried<\/a> \u2064 during the first presidential \u200ddebate in September to bring up \u200cthe \u2063emails and how Hunter \u201cmade a fortune in Ukraine, in China, in \u200cMoscow and various other places\u201d because his father was vice president.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m proud of my\u200d son,\u201d Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.debates.org\/voter-education\/debate-transcripts\/september-29-2020-debate-transcript\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">replied<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The debate moderator Chris \u200dWallace, who\u2062 was \u200dstill at Fox News at the time, also rebuffed Trump by\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.debates.org\/voter-education\/debate-transcripts\/september-29-2020-debate-transcript\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claiming<\/a> that \u201cthe American people\u2062 would rather \u2064hear about more\u200d substantial subjects.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve \u2063already \u200dbeen through this,\u201d Wallace said. \u201cAs the moderator, \u2062sir, \u200cI\u2019m going \u2063to make a judgment call here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nearly three years later, it\u2019s clear \u2062that Welker\u2019s nonchalance and \u2062Wallace\u2019s deflection \u200cof Biden family corruption did not age well.<\/p>\n<p>Since the 2020 presidential face-off, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/25\/joe-biden-allegedly-interacted-with-sons-clients-more-than-200-times\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">White House visitor logs<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/25\/here-are-all-the-people-who-have-corroborated-biden-family-corruption\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">testimonies from Biden business partners<\/a>, and documents obtained by \u200dRepublicans investigating Biden family corruption contradicting\u2063 Joe\u2019s original statements have surfaced. Now, Joe\u2019s \u2063lies have morphed into calling evidence that he sold \u2064political favors to foreign\u200d oligarchs a \u201cprivate\u201d and \u201cpersonal\u201d matter\u2064 that only relates to his son.<\/p>\n<figure>\n    <!-- Image goes here --><br \/>\n  <\/figure>\n<p>In 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/29\/senators-release-receipts-showing-direct-payments-from-foreign-oligarchs-to-hunter-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">receipts<\/a> obtained by Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley and\u200c Ron Johnson proved the energy company CEFC, dubbed \u201can arm of the Chinese\u200b Government,\u201d paid Hunter \u200c$100,000 in 2017. \u2064Documents, interviews, and \u200dban records \u2063also show Hunter was financially involved with \u200bCCP oligarchs such as Gongwen Dong, Mervyn Yan, and CCP \u201cspy chief\u201d \u200cPatrick Ho during and shortly after \u200chis father\u2019s tenure as VP.<\/p>\n<p>Recent testimony from IRS whistleblower\u200b Gary Shapley revealed that Hunter <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/22\/hunter-biden-threatened-my-father-could-hold-a-grudge-in-extortive-message-to-chinese-associate-revealed-by-whistleblower\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">threatened<\/a> via \u2063a WhatsApp message to Chinese businessman Henry Zhao that \u200bhe \u200dwould use his father\u2019s\u200c position to ensure \u201cpromises and \u2062assurances\u201d were kept.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2064 am sitting here with my father and we would like to \u2064understand why\u200b the\u200b commitment made has not been \u2064fulfilled,\u201d the message reads. \u201cI am\u2062 very concerned that the Chairman has either changed his mind and\u2062 broken our deal without telling me or that he is unaware of the \u200bpromises and \u200cassurances that have been made that have not been\u200d kept.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ten days \u200bafter\u2062 the message\u2063 was sent, CEFC <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kenvogel\/status\/1672308270571069456?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sent millions<\/a> \u2063 of\u200d dollars to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bank-flagged-hunter-bidens-payments-to-eastern-european-escort-ring\/\" title=\"Bank Flagged Hunter Biden's Payments to Eastern European Escort Ring\">bank account linked<\/a> to\u200b Hunter and Joe.<\/p>\n<p>Joe\u2019s involvement was\u2062 apparent from the start.
