The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-responds-after-special-counsel-jack-smith-hits-him-with-new-charges-says-its-all-because-hes-way-up-in-the-general-election\/\" title=\"Trump reacts to new charges from Special Counsel Jack Smith, claiming it's due to his strong position in the general election.\">footage allegedly showed employees moving\u2063 boxes<\/a> that contained \u200cclassified documents.<\/p>\n<p>He also faces a\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/new-charges-unveiled-trump-mar-lago-documents-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new count<\/a> under\u2064 the Espionage Act concerning a highly publicized \u200bepisode in which he allegedly showed several people at his \u2064Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club \u2063a classified document.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2063 former president told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/trump-reacts-to-abuse-by-doj-this-is-what-you-get-for-leading-the-2024-polls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a> that \u201cthe\u2064 charges are \u2064ridiculous, and they know it better than anyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump, who\u2064 is leading in\u2064 the \u2064race for the Republican nomination for \u2063president, said the\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-breaking-big-update-trump-documents-case-third-person-charged\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">charges<\/a> are \u200bdesigned to skew the\u2064 2024\u200d presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis\u200b is prosecutorial misconduct used at\u200d a \u2064level never seen before,\u201d he said. \u201cIf I weren\u2019t leading Biden by\u200d a lot in numerous polls, and wasn\u2019t going to be the Republican nominee, it wouldn\u2019t be happening.
