Aldean did not want to remove the scenes but was forced to\u2064 for legal reasons.<\/p>\n<p>According\u2063 to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2023\/07\/26\/jason-aldean-music-video-try-that-in-a-small-town-black-lives-matter-protest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TMZ<\/a>,\u200b the footage \u200bin \u200dquestion was from Fox \u20625 Atlanta. The production team had \u200dreached out\u200d to the news agency asking for permission to use the clips in the music video.<\/p>\n<p>Fox 5 asked for the lyrics to the song, but \u2062instead, Aldean&#8217;s team sent them an audio recording. Production \u200cof the video went\u200d ahead anyway, and the \u200dfootage was\u200b used.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, however, \u200cthe outlet \u200dreached \u2064out \u200bto the production team and asked them to\u2062 remove the footage in order to avoid legal\u200d action, in \u200cwhat\u200d TMZ described as a &#8220;polite ultimatum,&#8221; and the team complied.<\/p>\n<p>So no, Aldean did not \u200dbow to the woke mob\u200d by removing the footage from the video; he did so\u200c to avoid a copyright lawsuit from the owners of \u2064that footage.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, however, given the leftist control of the media,\u200d it is entirely possible that the &#8220;polite ultimatum&#8221; had less to do with copyright law and more \u200cto do with covering for \u200bBLM.<\/p>\n<p>The BLM \u200driots in 2020 that followed the \u2063death of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/george-floyd-case-reach-scotus-chauvin-make-major-legal-move-learning-fate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">George Floyd<\/a> \u2062 were absolutely\u200b horrific.
