These charges stem from \u200dalleged attempts to delete surveillance footage at Mar-a-Lago after investigators had delivered\u200d a subpoena to Trump, requesting the materials\u2064 he possessed.<\/p>\n<p>One of the\u2062 most significant revelations in the new superseding indictment is that prosecutors now have\u2062 in their possession \u2064the document that Trump showed \u2063to a writer and a publisher during a recorded interview in July 2021 at his golf club in Bedminster.<\/p>\n<p>After being initially indicted in the case, Trump claimed in media \u200binterviews that he was not holding any documents and that\u2062 it was merely a case of him displaying \u2063too much &#8220;bravado.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I\u200d would say it was bravado; if you want to know the truth, it was bravado,&#8221; Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/blogs\/blog-briefing-room\/4071294-trump-says-he-wasnt-holding-classified-documents-mentioned-in-tape-i-would-say-it-was-bravado\/\">said<\/a>. &#8220;I was\u200b talking and just holding \u200cup papers and talking about them, but I had no documents. \u200cI \u2062didn&#8217;t have any documents.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\">CLICK HERE TO \u200dGET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>However, \u2062the new superseding indictment makes it clear that prosecutors are now in possession of \u200dthe document.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;The document that TRUMP possessed and showed on July 21,\u200b 2021, is charged as Count 32 in this Superseding Indictment,&#8221; the indictment states.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to prosecutors, when FBI agents were at Mar-a-Lago on June 3, 2022, collecting \u200bclassified\u200b documents, they\u2063 noticed surveillance cameras near the storage room.
