Back then, a whopping 85% of the peeps aged 18-29 were rocking the national\u200c pride. But now? Nah, that number has gone way down. It\u2019s like a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/consumer-sentiment-falls-on-covid-and-inflation-fears\/\" title=\"Consumer Sentiment Falls on Covid and Inflation Fears\">roller coaster ride<\/a>, but instead of screaming with\u2062 excitement, we\u2019re left \u2063scratching our heads.<\/p>\n<p>To add another twist to this whole patriotism tale, political party affiliation plays a big role. Surprise, Republicans are leading the pride game, clocking in at a\u2063 cool \u206260%. Meanwhile, the Democrats and independents are lagging behind at 29% and 33% respectively. But hey, let\u2019s not forget that even within these political tribes, the young ones are still less thrilled compared to their\u200c seasoned counterparts.<\/p>\n<p>So, what\u2019s \u200dthe deal? The decline in American\u2063 pride has been a long journey, with a sharp\u2063 drop after 9\/11 and\u200c a steady decline since 2005. Age isn\u2019t the only factor here, folks; party identification\u2062 also plays \u2063a part. Looks like we\u2019ve got ourselves a \u2064complicated mess that needs some serious fixing.<\/p>\n<p>The Gallup poll follows another that found two out\u200b of three U.S. \u2064voters have declared that President Joe Biden, 80, might be just be too old to\u200c run in 2024. Americans think\u2062 it\u2019s high time he step aside and let \u200byounger Democrats fight it\u2064 out for the nomination, according to a new\u2062 poll.<\/p>\n<p>The DailyMail.com\/Tipp <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-12292917\/Two-thirds-voters-say-Biden-make-way-younger-Democratic-candidates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">poll<\/a> shockingly\u200d discovered that a whopping 67% of registered voters believe Biden \u2014 who\u2019s become quite the maestro of gaffes and falls \u2014 isn\u2019t up to the task mentally or physically to serve a second\u200d term.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It seems Republicans aren\u2019t the only \u2063ones shaking their heads. Surprisingly, just a third (33%) of Democrats think Biden should gear up for the 2024 race. A staggering 56% believe he should pack his bags and take a break, while another 10% just aren\u2019t sure about his prospects.<\/p>\n<p>Biden might already have\u2064 two Democratic rivals jousting for\u200d his\u200b party\u2019s nomination \u2014 yes, you heard that right. We\u2019re talking\u2064 about the lifestyle guru Marianne\u2062 Williamson and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Though, let\u2019s \u2064be honest, they might need a miracle to surpass Biden.<\/p>\n<p>But \u200bwaiting eagerly in the wings are esteemed and sprightly younger Democrats who just might give Biden a run for his money against\u2064 former President Donald\u2064 Trump, \u2063Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, or\u200b any Republican who manages to snatch the nomination.<\/p>\n<p>Names\u200c like\u2064 California Governor Gavin Newsom, Michigan Governor Gretchen \u2062Whitmer, Biden\u2019s\u2063 Vice President Kamala Harris, and\u200c his Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg are already gaining attention\u2064 as the future faces of the Democratic Party.<\/p>\n<p>Now, we must admit that Biden himself has acknowledged the legitimacy of the age \u200bquestion. However, he\u2019s been trying his best to brush \u200doff concerns about\u2063 his energy\u2063 levels and sharpness \u2063for the job.
