It \u2062is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/reports-explosion-rocks-downtown-nashville-on-christmas-day\/\" title=\"Reports: Explosion Rocks Downtown Nashville on Christmas Day\">deliberate act<\/a> of volition, a willful commitment that establishes the \u2062bond between two people. This concept can also be applied to our relationship with \u200cJesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>In Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus\u2062 makes \u200ca \u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/meme-lords-just-figured-out-how-to-take-back-the-billions-wall-street-made-profiting-off-lockdowns-the-washington-standard\/\" title=\"Meme Lords Just Figured Out How To Take Back The Billions Wall Street Made Profiting Off Lockdowns\">powerful statement<\/a> about the importance of action in our faith:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Not everyone who says to\u2062 Me, &#8216;Lord, Lord,&#8217; will enter \u2064the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say \u2062to Me on that day, &#8216;Lord, Lord, \u2063did we not prophesy in Your \u200bname, and in Your name cast out demons, and in \u200dYour name perform many miracles?&#8217; And then \u2064I will declare to them, &#8216;I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This passage challenges the popular notion of &#8220;easy believism,&#8221; which suggests that\u2062 simply\u200c believing in Jesus without truly understanding who \u2063He is can \u200clead to salvation. Romans 10:9 tells us that true belief involves confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection.<\/p>\n<p>Believing in Jesus with\u2064 our hearts means making a volitional commitment to Him, just as Jesus pointed out in Matthew 7.\u200d It goes beyond \u2062intellectual assent and requires us to submit to His \u2062lordship. This is emphasized by\u200c the frequent use of\u2062 the term &#8220;kurios&#8221;\u2062 (Lord) to describe Jesus in the New Testament.<\/p>\n<p>James \u200b2:19 further \u200dillustrates the significance of genuine \u200dbelief: &#8220;You believe that God is one. You\u2064 do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.&#8221; Even demons \u200cpossess the correct intellectual understanding of who Jesus\u200b is, but their rebellion against His lordship shows that mere \u2062belief is not enough.<\/p>\n<p>So, what are the signs of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/5-times-transgender-athletes-dominated-womens-sports\/\" title=\"5 Times Transgender Athletes Dominated Women\u2019s Sports\">false belief<\/a>? Ephesians 5:5-7 \u200dprovides valuable insight into true salvation:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive\u200b you with empty words, for because of\u200b these\u200d things the wrath of\u2064 God comes upon the sons of disobedience.\u200b Therefore do not be partakers with them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This passage\u2062 warns against immorality, impurity, and covetousness as indicators of false belief. True believers,\u200d on the other hand, are \u2064characterized \u2063by selflessness and a \u200cdesire to serve others.<\/p>\n<p>God wants us to have assurance of our salvation\u200d and the ability to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/drollinger-take-the-biblical-test-of-true-faith\/\" title=\"Drollinger: Put Your Faith to the Biblical Test\">discern true saving faith<\/a>. When we combine the indicators mentioned in Ephesians 5 with those in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, it\u2064 becomes clear who will inherit the kingdom of God.<\/p>\n<p>While persistent, unrepentant sinners will not inherit\u2064 the kingdom, believers can have confidence in their secure hope of eternal life.
