She accused the \u2063hearing of being a\u200b fear-mongering tactic to mobilize conservative voters \u2063and promote right-wing talking\u2064 points.<\/p>\n<h2>A Detransitioner&#8217;s Testimony<\/h2>\n<p>Nineteen-year-old detransitioner Chloe Cole testified \u2063before \u200cthe subcommittee, sharing her personal experience. She described the coercion she faced from \u200bdoctors, \u200cwhich led her to start a transition process at the age of 12. Cole referred to herself as a victim of a major medical scandal in the United\u2063 States, where families are deceived and\u2064 coerced based on ideological motivations.<\/p>\n<p>Cole revealed that doctors \u200bused fear\u200c tactics on her parents,\u200d asking\u200b them if they would rather have a dead\u2064 daughter \u200bor a living transgender son.
