Greg Casar, a congressman from Texas, \u2063went on a \u201cthirst strike\u201d\u200d at\u200d the Capitol, as a way to push for federal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-hundreds-thousands-left-without-power-us-heat-wave-triggers-chaotic-weather\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heat safety regulations<\/a>. Casar\u2019s\u200b thirst strike is really nothing notable.<\/p>\n<p>Frankly,\u2064 all he did was prove that we \u2064do not need to take water breaks during our work day.
