She was 14-years-old \u2064at the time of her disappearance. <\/p>\n<p>According to police, Navarro, now 18, was found in Montana in a town close to \u2064the U.S.-Canadian border after she\u2062 walked into a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/living-through-a-socialist-collapse-an-insiders-account-of-venezuelas-demise\/\" title=\"Living Through A Socialist Collapse: An Insider\u2019s Account Of Venezuela\u2019s Demise\">local police station<\/a> alone and identified herself.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe are \u2064happy, and at the\u200c same time, we are hopeful \u2064we will\u2064 be able to supply\u200c this family with \u200da little more closure,\u201d Glendale Police spokesperson Jose Santiago said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The girl\u2019s\u200b family members described Navarro as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/alicia-navarro-found-after-missing-for-4-years\/\" title=\"Alicia Navarro located after 4-year disappearance.\">high-functioning autistic young woman<\/a> who did something that her mother said was \u201cout of her character.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>When Navarro arrived at the Glendale Police Department, officers confirmed \u2062her \u2064identification\u2063 and supplied images and recordings of her.<\/p>\n<p>In the\u200b videos, she responded \u2062to the officials questions, saying\u2063 \u201cNo, no one hurt me.\u201d She also thanked the \u2063police for helping her. <\/p>\n<p>Police reported that she was \u201chappy\u201d and \u201chealthy\u201d and is ready to move on and be reunited with her\u2064 family.\u00a0Glendale police and FBI agents are currently \u2063in Montana\u200b investigating\u200c the matter. <\/p>\n<p>Alicia\u2019s mom, Jessica Nunez, posted a video on \u2062Facebook reacting to the news.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cI do feel that I owe this video to the community and to God. First of all, I want to give glory to God for answering prayers and for this\u200d miracle. For everyone who has missing loved ones, I want you to use this case \u2062as an example. Miracles\u2063 do exist. \u200dNever lose hope and always fight. My daughter Alicia Navarro was missing since September 15<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019. She has been \u2062found safe,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThis is recent news for me. It was\u2064 an hour before it was posted on social media and the news. I don\u2019t have details, but the important\u2064 thing is that she is alive,\u201d Nunez \u200bsaid. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Nunez said she did not give up hope during the four years her daughter was missing.<\/p>\n<p>During that \u2062time, the \u200cfamily hired a private\u2064 investigator who spent up to 50 hours\u2062 a week working to find the missing girl. Trent Steele, the private \u2064investigator who her family hired, reported \u200bthat he and\u2063 his team had received hundreds of tips during\u2064 the search. <\/p>\n<p>It was not revealed\u2064 to the press what Navarro was up to\u200d all \u200dthis time \u2064or even where she was staying.
