U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika, a\u200c Trump appointee, has ordered Hunter to &#8220;continue \u2064or actively\u2064 seek employment&#8221; as part of his release conditions.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to finding \u2064employment, Hunter is also prohibited from consuming alcohol and using or possessing\u2064 any drugs, unless prescribed by a licensed medical practitioner. To ensure compliance, he must submit to testing for prohibited substances if required by the pretrial services office or supervising officer. The testing may include urine testing, wearing a sweat patch, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/federal-judge-orders-hunter-biden-to-get-a-job\/\" title=\"Judge orders Hunter Biden to find employment.\">remote alcohol testing system<\/a>, or any other form of prohibited substance screening or testing. However, this plan was put on hold after Judge Noreika\u2062 learned that Hunter was still under investigation for other matters. As a result, she could not accept the\u200b plea\u200d agreement at that time.<\/p>\n<p>The \u200bplea\u2063 deal\u2064 hit a\u200c snag when Judge Noreika inquired about an ongoing\u200c criminal investigation into Hunter. The federal prosecutor confirmed the existence of the investigation\u2064 but could not provide further\u2062 details. The possibility of additional charges related to the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA)\u2064 was also raised.<\/p>\n<p>Defense attorney Chris Clark expressed \u2063his belief that the plea agreement was now null and void due to the ongoing \u2063investigation.
