Matt Gaetz Discusses UAP Beyond Human Limits\">high-flying unidentified anomalous \u200bphenomena<\/a> (UAP) \u2063that appeared to transcend \u201chuman capability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During a <a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/hearing\/unidentified-anomalous-phenomena-implications-on-national-security-public-safety-and-government-transparency\/\">House subcommittee hearing<\/a> on\u200b the \u201cimplications\u201d UAPs \u2064have on national security, public safety, and government transparency, Rep. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/matt-gaetz\">Matt Gaetz<\/a> \u200c(R-FL) opened up\u200c about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/u-s-lawmaker-ive-seen-evidence-of-ufo-craft\">a\u2063 trip he took<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/florida\">Florida<\/a>&#8216;s Eglin Air\u2064 Force Base in February.<\/p>\n<p>Acting upon a \u2062protected disclosure from the base \u201cindicating that there was a UAP incident that required my attention,\u201d Gaetz sought a briefing along with Reps. Tim Burchett (R-TN) and Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), who have taken the lead \u2064in Congress investigating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/ufo\">UFOs<\/a>, \u200cthe\u200d congressman said.<\/p>\n<p>Gaetz said they asked to see\u2063 any evidence that may have\u200c been gathered, observe radar information, and to speak with the flight crew involved in \u2063the sighting, but the congressional trio\u2019s inquiries were met \u200dwith resistance.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udca5\ud83d\udca5\ud83d\udca5\ud83d\udca5\ud83d\udca5\ud83d\udef8<br \/>&#8220;The image\u200d was of something that I \u2062am\u2063 not able to attach to any human capability,\u200d either from the United States or from any\u2062 of our adversaries.&#8221; \u2013\u200b Matt Gaetz<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Matt Gaetz \u200cwas\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/iVRddu9Ead\">pic.twitter.com\/iVRddu9Ead<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Mike Colangelo (@MikeColangelo) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MikeColangelo\/status\/1684242746490466335?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 26, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThereafter, we had a bit of a discussion about how authorities \u200cflow in the \u200bUnited States of America,\u201d Gaetz said.\u2062 \u201cAnd we did see the image and we did\u200d meet with one\u2064 member of the flight crew who took the image.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What he saw in \u2064the image, Gaetz said, he is \u201cnot \u200bable to attach to any human capability, either\u2064 from the United States or from any of our adversaries.\u201d He underscored that\u200c point by \u2062noting he sits on the <a href=\"https:\/\/gaetz.house.gov\/about\/committees-and-caucuses\">House Armed Services Committee<\/a> and has oversight of advanced technologies programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\">CLICK HERE\u200c TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Astonishing Testimony from the Flight Crew \u2062Member<\/h3>\n<p>The flight crew member offered an \u200bexplanation of what happened the day the incident \u2062took place, as described by Gaetz during the hearing:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>They were out on a test mission that day over the Gulf of Mexico and when you\u2019re on a test mission, \u200dyou\u2019re supposed to have clear airspace, not \u200bsupposed to be anything that shows up. And \u2062they saw a sequence of four craft in a \u200cclear diamond formation for\u2064 which there is \u2064a radar sequence\u2064 that I and I alone have observed in the United States Congress.<\/p>\n<p>One of \u2063the pilots\u200b goes to check out that diamond formation and sees a large floating,\u200b what I can only describe as an \u200borb, again,\u200d like I \u200csaid, not of any human capability\u2064 that I\u2019m aware of. And when he approached, he said that his radar went down, he said that his FLIR system malfunctioned, and that he had \u2064to \u2064manually \u200btake this image from one of the lenses and it was not automatic, automated in collection as \u2064you would typically see in a test mission.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The 96th \u200dTest \u200bWing at Eglin Air Force Base previously gave <a href=\"https:\/\/midbaynews.com\/post\/members-of-congress-lambast-eglin-general-over-ufo-information\">Mid Bay News<\/a> a statement with the\u2062 Pentagon\u2019s version of \u200bevents about what happened during the visit by lawmakers, but it\u2064 did not get into any detail about\u2062 what Gaetz was reportedly shown.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEglin Air Force Base supported \u2064a visit from Representatives Gaetz, Burchett, and Luna on Feb 21.\u200c Air \u2063Force officials provided \u200ba classified briefing on\u200b intelligence\u200b collection\u2063 threats \u2063to Eglin Air \u200dForce Base during their \u200bvisit,\u201d the\u2064 statement said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Congressmembers halted the briefing and requested instead \u200ca briefing focused\u200b on Unidentified\u2063 Aerial Phenomena,\u201d\u2062 the \u2062statement\u200b added. \u201cBase officials responded to present additional available classified information on UAPs to all three members but were only able to discuss a certain \u2062portion of\u200d the information with Representative Gaetz,\u200c a member of\u200d the House Armed Services Committee. Representatives Burchett and Luna, not being members of a\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/waiver-to-restart-f-35-deliveries-approved-by-pentagon\/\" title=\"Waiver to Restart F-35 Deliveries Approved by Pentagon\">congressional defense committee<\/a>, did \u200bnot possess the \u2063access required to join the portion of the discussion reserved \u2062for\u200c Representative Gaetz.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addressing\u2062 the two former Navy pilots appearing as\u200d witnesses at the hearing on Wednesday who have already come \u200bforward with claims about mysterious flying\u200c objects that appear \u2062to defy the laws of physics, Gaetz got retired Cmdr. David Fravor to\u200d testify how the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/space\/ufo\/tic-tac-ufo-incident-2004-never-investigated\/\">\u201cTic\u200d Tac\u201d incident<\/a> during a 2004 training mission with the USS Nimitz appeared to similarly mess with <a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/David-Fravor-Statement-for-House-Oversight-Committee.pdf\">radar detection\u2063 capabilities<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan Graves, who is now executive director of Americans for\u2062 Safe Aerospace, talked about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=QKHg-vnTFsM\">\u201cGimbal\u201d video<\/a> recorded \u200cby his former\u2062 squadron. \u201cThe \u200crecording on the ATFLIR system \u2064shows a single object that rotates,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pnj.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2023\/07\/26\/matt-gaetz-investigated-ufo-incident-near-eglin-air-force-base\/70470761007\/\">Graves said<\/a>. \u201cYou hear \u200bthe pilots\u200c referred \u2062to a fleet of objects that is not visible on the \u200bFLIR system.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Building \u200dupon another point by Graves, that he feels \u201canger\u201d that pilots face so many hurdles in trying to report such incidents, Gaetz said he \u200dwas told that \u201cif you have a UAP experience, the best thing you can do for your career is forget it and \u200dnot tell anyone because any \u200dtype of reporting either above the surface or below\u200b \u2026 does have a perceived consequence to these people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2063 is a culture we must change. If\u2064 we want to get to the truth,\u201d Gaetz said, before making two recommendations geared toward transparency. One was getting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/live-the-daily-wire-election-night-2022\">intelligence veteran David Grusch<\/a>, \u2062the third witness at Wednesday\u2019s hearing who \u200bhas gone public\u200d with allegations about crafts of non-human\u200b origin being\u200b retrieved \u2062and kept from Congress, to talk to lawmakers in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dem-civil-war-erupts-with-name-calling-leaks\/\" title=\"Dem Civil War Erupts With Name-Calling, Leaks\">sensitive compartmented information facility<\/a>, also known as\u2064 a SCIF, to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/whistleblower-testifies-he-knows-exact-locations-of-ufos\">provide more complete answers than he was able to give publicly<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSecond, I would suggest that the radar images that were collected of \u200cthis formation \u200cof craft out of Eglin Air\u200b Force Base and specifically the actual image taken \u2064by the actual flight\u200b crew that we can actually validate\u2062 be provided to\u2063 the committee \u2014 subpoenaed if necessary,\u201d Gaetz said. \u201cSo\u2064 that we\u2019re able to track how to get this type of \u2062reporting and analysis done in a more fulsome way.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A House lawmaker discussed military pilots witnessing a mysterious high-flying phenomenon (UAP) that seemed beyond human capabilities.
