He alleged that \u200bexecutive branch agencies have been withholding information about the mysterious object for \u2063years.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote data-service=\"twitter\" data-category=\"marketing\" data-placeholder-image=\"https:\/\/c3.oann.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/complianz-gdpr\/assets\/images\/placeholders\/twitter-minimal.jpg\" class=\"cmplz-placeholder-element twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A former\u200c military intelligence officer testified before \u2062a \u200dHouse committee today that Congress has been kept in the dark about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-rare-target-bridging-partisan-divide-in-congress-ufos\/\" title=\"Congress finds rare common ground on UFOs.\">unidentified anomalous \u200cphenomena<\/a>, or UAP\u200d (a.k.a UFOs). <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HjbhWg1NU8\">pic.twitter.com\/HjbhWg1NU8<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 NowThis (@nowthisnews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nowthisnews\/status\/1684281704226123777?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 26, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script type=\"text\/plain\" data-service=\"twitter\" data-category=\"marketing\" async data-cmplz-src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Grusch, who had served for 14 years as an intelligence officer with the Air \u2063Force and the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, said that he was informed of \u201ca multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and \u200dreverse-engineering program.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cI was informed in the\u200c course of my official duties of a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program \u2062to which \u2063I was denied access,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>When Gusch \u2062requested access to the program, he said that\u2063 he was denied. He went on to accuse the\u200c military of misappropriating funds in order to\u2062 cover up those \u200bprograms from Congress. He also said that he has personally interviewed officials with \u2063direct knowledge of aircraft with \u201cnonhuman\u201d origin.<\/p>\n<p>Member of the committee emphasized the purpose\u200c of\u2064 the hearing which was to \u201cuncover the cover-up.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going to uncover the cover-up, \u200dand I hope this is just the beginning of many more hearings and many more people coming forward about this,\u201d Representative Tim Burchett \u200d(R-Tenn.) said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Pentagon has officially denied all claims by Grusch. Defense Department spokeswoman Sue Gough said that they have \u200bnot discovered \u201cany verifiable information\u2064 to substantiate claims that any programs \u200bregarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial\u2062 materials have existed in \u200dthe past or exist \u2064currently.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Along with Grusch, Ryan Graves, a former Navy pilot who has said he has encountered UAPs while on training missions also testified before\u2063 Congress.<\/p>\n<p>Graves first began detecting unknown objects\u200b when he was \u200dstationed in Virginia Beach in 2014. He described the unknown objects as \u201cdark grey of black cubes \u2026 inside of a clear sphere, where the apex or tips of the cubes were touching the inside of that sphere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A fellow pilot had also told Graves of \u2064his own incident when flying about 10 miles of the coast of Virginia. \u200cThe pilot \u200dsaid that\u200c an object had appeared flying between two F-18s, coming within 50 feet of the\u2063 aircraft.\u2062 The pilot described the \u2063object as being between five and\u2063 15 feet in diameter, and said that there was no acknowledgment of the\u200c incident \u200band \u2062that there had been no way of reporting it at the time.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cIf everyone could see the sensor and video data I witnessed, our national conversation would change,\u201d Graves said. \u201cI urge us to put aside\u200c stigma\u2063 and address the security and safety issue \u2063this topic represents. If UAP are foreign\u200d drones, it is an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/former-air-force-intelligence-officer-drops-bombshell-i-know-the-exact-locations-of-ufos-in-united-states\/\" title=\"Ex-Air Force Intel Officer Reveals: 'I've Got UFO Locations in US'\">urgent national security problem<\/a>. If it is \u2063something else, it is an issue for science. In \u200deither case, unidentified objects are a concern \u200dfor\u200c flight safety. The American people deserve to know what is happening in our skies. It is long overdue.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>David Fravor, the retired Navy commander who had shot the\u2064 \u201cTic Tac\u201d video of a large \u2062object during a flight off\u200c the coast \u200bof California in\u200c 2004 was brought to testify before Congress as\u200d well.<\/p>\n<p>Fravor recounted\u2062 his experience \u2062with the object on the coast of California in 2004. He testified to the committee that he had spotted the \u201csmooth, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/u-s-concealing-multi-decade-program-that-captures-ufos-whistleblower-tells-congress\/\" title=\"Whistleblower reveals long-standing U.S. program hiding UFO captures to Congress.\">seamless oval-shaped\u201d object hovering<\/a> above the\u2063 water before quickly rising to over 12,000\u2062 feet in the air. \u200bThe object then accelerated and disappeared, it was\u2063 then spotted less than\u200b a \u2064minute later\u2062 around 60 miles away.<\/p>\n<p>He \u2063said\u2064 that what he experienced was \u201cwell beyond \u2064the material science and capabilities\u201d that we have or \u2063going to have in the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cI think what we experienced was,\u201d Fravor said. \u201cLike I said, well beyond \u2064the\u2063 material science and the capabilities that we\u2064 had at the time, that we have currently or that we\u2019re going to have in the next 10 to 20 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Congressional hearing took place as the demand by\u2062 lawmakers is on the rise for military and intelligence\u2064 agencies to release more \u200dinformation regarding the incidents.\u2064 Multiple \u2064members of Congress stated that the release of \u2063such information is an issue\u2063 of\u200d national security posed by the objects in or near U.S. airspace.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote data-service=\"twitter\" data-category=\"marketing\" data-placeholder-image=\"https:\/\/c3.oann.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/complianz-gdpr\/assets\/images\/placeholders\/twitter-minimal.jpg\" class=\"cmplz-placeholder-element twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Several \u200dmonths ago, my office received a protected disclosure \u2063from Eglin Air Force Base indicating there was a UAP incident that required my attention.<\/p>\n<p>I sought a briefing regarding that episode and brought <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepTimBurchett?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RepTimBurchett<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepLuna?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RepLuna<\/a> with me.<\/p>\n<p>We were initially denied access\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0EhhqTcRea\">pic.twitter.com\/0EhhqTcRea<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2064 Rep. Representative Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) said that the \u201ctime has come\u201d to have disclosure.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe should have disclosure today,\u201d he said. \u201cWe should have disclosure tomorrow. The \u200ctime has come.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>An amendment to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrats-allocate-5-million-for-national-science-foundation-diversity-officer\/\" title=\"Democrats Allocate  Million for National Science Foundation \u2018Diversity Officer\u2019\">annual defense spending bill<\/a> is currently making its way through Congress which would require such\u2064 agencies to release any information regarding UAPs. The amendment is modeled after the \u2063legislation which was aimed to reveal government records in regards to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cSeveral of us are going to look forward to getting \u2064some answers in a more confidential setting,\u201d Representative Glenn Grotham (R-Wis.), the committee\u2019s chairman said. \u200b\u201cI assume some legislation will come out of this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Pentagon \u2064officials \u2063said that they have not \u201cseen anything\u201d which points \u2064towards any of the objects being of alien origin.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe have not seen anything, and we\u2019re still very early on, that\u2064 would lead us to believe\u200c that any of the objects\u2064 that we have seen are of alien origin,\u201d Ronald Moultrie, the undersecretary of defense for \u2062intelligence and security, said. \u201cAny unauthorized system in our airspace we deem as a\u200d threat to safety.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Stay informed!
