The \u200ctwo men\u2019s tales went viral after \u200bthey were included \u2063in the \u200d2019 HBO documentary \u201cLeaving Neverland.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both men had sued MJJ Productions Inc. and MJJ Ventures Inc., which Michael Jackson\u200c was\u200d the sole owner and lone shareholder of. <\/p>\n<p>The lawsuits were \u200cfirst\u2062 thrown out in 2017 when \u200dSuperior Court Judge Mark A. Young ruled that they were beyond the statute of limitations.\u200c However,\u2063 a \u2062new\u200c California law that temporarily broadened the scope of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sexual-abuse-lawsuits-against-michael-jackson-could-possibly-be-revived\/\" title=\"Michael Jackson's sexual abuse lawsuits may be revived.\">sexual abuse \u200ccases allowed<\/a> the court to\u200d reinstate them. <\/p>\n<p>In 2021, Young dismissed the suits again, ruling that the \u2062two corporations and their employees had\u200c no legal duty to protect Robson and Safechuck from Jackson. Despite\u200d this move, California\u2019s 2nd District\u2064 Court of Appeal reversed the ruling last month and ordered the \u200dcases go\u200c back \u200bto trial. <\/p>\n<p>Robson, now 40, was 5-years-old when he first met\u200b Jackson.\u200b He \u2063had reportedly met the pop artist because he was chosen to star as \u200can extra \u2063in numerous \u200dJackson music videos.<\/p>\n<p>Robson\u2019s\u200c lawsuit claimed that Jackson molested him throughout a\u200b 7-year period. He also asserted that since he was an employee of Jackson at the time, staff\u200b members of both organizations\u200b had \u2064owed him protection in the same manner that the Boy Scouts owed\u2062 their young boys protection.<\/p>\n<p>Safechuck, now 45, stated that he encountered Jackson \u2064when he was 9-years-old while filming a Pepsi commercial.
