A few of the women said that they were forced to have sex with Klein,\u200b while others claimed they believed that they \u2064could face punishment if they had refused\u200c his sexual advances. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cTony Klein used his position of authority to prey\u200d on women in custody who were\u200c in a uniquely vulnerable position,\u201d said Natalie Wight, U.S. attorney for the District of Oregon. \u201cHe further led his victims to believe they had no power to\u200b resist or\u2062 report his abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Klein\u200c adamantly denied any\u200d form of\u200c sexual assault, but \u2062did not testify during \u2062the trial. He is\u200b facing\u2064 the\u2063 possibility of\u2064 life in\u2062 prison when \u200dhis sentencing comes in October. <\/p>\n<p>Klein\u2019s \u200dattorneys, \u200bAmanda Alvarez Thibeault and Matthew McHenry, claimed that he was \u200dthe\u2064 victim of a scheme planned\u200c by women in custody \u200dwho had plotted \u2062to find ways to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/former-prison-nurse-found-guilty-of-sexually-assaulting-9-inmates\/\" title=\"Ex-Prison Nurse Convicted of Sexually Assaulting 9 Inmates\">receive financial \u2064settlements<\/a> from the state.
