But these are not normal circumstances, Merrick Garland is not a normal \u200cAG, and participating in international bribery schemes is\u2064 not normal vice president or president behavior.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Asking Garland to\u2064 bestow special privileges and status on yet another \u200bone of Biden\u2019s corrupt deep state attorneys to investigate\u2062 the \u2064first family\u2019s corruption \u2064would ultimately be a waste of time and taxpayer money because \u200cit would require\u200b Americans to believe \u2063the DOJ applies equal justice. Spoiler alert: <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/09\/4-in-5-americans-see-two-tiered-justice-system-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">they don\u2019t<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rotten to the \u200cCore<\/h2>\n<p>Ever since inquiries into Joe and his son began,\u200d the DOJ, FBI, \u2062IRS, and other bureaucrats have done nothing but obstruct congressional oversight, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/02\/gopers-order-blinken-to-turn-over-all-communications-with-hunter-biden-after-emails-show-he-lied-to-congress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lie<\/a>, hide \u2062evidence, slow-walk investigations, and do everything \u200cthey \u2062could to shield the Bidens from scrutiny.<\/p>\n<p>The FBI\u2063 field office tasked with investigating Hunter \u200bBiden kicked\u2064 off the concealment campaign\u200d by <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/12\/27\/fbi-office-investigating-hunter-biden-sent-twitter-numerous-censorship-requests-right-before-2020-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">asking Twitter<\/a> to censor certain content ahead of the\u2062 2020 election. \u2064Recent\u200c testimony from Laura\u200b Dehmlow, section chief of \u2063the FBI\u2019s Foreign Influence Task Force, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/20\/fbi-told-twitter-hunter-biden-laptop-was-real-when-new-york-post-story-broke-then-hid-behind-big-tech-censors-disinfo-smear\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">confessed<\/a> that the FBI told Twitter Hunter\u2019s laptop was real the\u2064 day the New York Post published \u200dits bombshell reporting,\u200b before the bureau quickly switched its narrative to \u200d\u201cno\u2062 further comment.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>More recently, FBI Director Christopher \u2062Wray, even\u2064 when faced\u2064 with <a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/release\/comer-releases-resolution-holding-fbi-director-wray-in-contempt-of-congress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">threats of contempt<\/a>, refused to publicize\u2062 the unclassified document alleging Joe\u2019s role in\u200d accepting millions\u2062 to orchestrate the firing of\u200b the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating\u200d his son\u2019s company.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>IRS whistleblowers,\u2064 who\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/16\/whistleblower-irs-removed-my-entire-investigative-team-on-the-hunter-biden-tax-probe-at-dojs-request\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">faced\u200d retribution<\/a> from their agency \u200bfor speaking up about\u200b the double standards in \u200dthe Biden investigation, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepJamesComer\/status\/1681806062247182336?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">were also not privy to the bombshell\u200c FD-1023<\/a>. Nor were they \u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HouseGOP\/status\/1681757271775141889?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">allowed\u2064 access<\/a> \u2063 to all of the\u200c evidence on Hunter\u2019s laptop.<\/p>\n<p>During\u200c the IRS\u2019s tax\u2063 investigation of Hunter, the FBI <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/22\/irs-whistleblower-docs-show-doj-obstructed-investigation-into-his-son-to-protect-joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tipped \u2063off<\/a> the Biden team about surprise interviews, according to whistleblowers, who also testified that the younger Biden was let off the \u200chook for\u2064 apparent\u2062 financial\u2063 crimes in\u200c 2014-2015 because U.S. Delaware Attorney David Weiss <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/19\/irs-whistleblower-says-weiss-allowed-statute-of-limitations-to-expire-in-hunter-biden-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">allowed the \u200dstatute \u2062of limitations to expire<\/a>. Weiss\u2019s\u200b office also played\u2064 a role\u200c in <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/23\/delaware-u-s-attorneys-office-buried-biden-bribery-allegations-ag-barr-sent-for-investigation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">concealing \u2063evidence<\/a> of Joe\u200b and Hunter\u2019s Burisma bribes.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Weiss and Garland <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/05\/holiday-weekend-news-dump-implodes-merrick-garlands-biden-investigation-testimony\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">at best \u200bmisled, and at \u2062worst \u200dlied<\/a> to Congress about\u2062 the authority the U.S. attorney\u200d possessed over \u201cwhere, \u2063when, and whether\u200b to file charges\u201d \u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/20\/hunter-bidens-wrist-slap-on-gun-tax-crimes-is-a-complete-smokescreen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">against Hunter.<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The list goes on and on and on.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Appointing\u2062 a special counsel \u2063from the same agencies\u200b that spent years covering up the corruption he would be tasked with investigating would\u200b be\u200c far too little,\u200d far \u200btoo\u2064 late.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Don\u2019t Forget the Durham Disappointment<\/h2>\n<p>History\u2064 shows that naming a special counsel who \u2064is miraculously effective and nonpartisan is a futile effort.<\/p>\n<p>Take Special Counsel \u2064John Durham, for example. While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sen-ted-cruz-plans-resolution-to-support-arms-sales-to-israel\/\" title=\"Sen. Ted Cruz Plans Resolution to Support Arms Sales to Israel\">corrupt corporate media<\/a> and Democrats touted the Russia-collusion hoax as fact and repeatedly tried\u2063 to\u2064 remove former President\u2062 Donald Trump \u2062from office, the special counsel quietly and dutifully pulled \u2062together a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/storage\/durhamreport.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">306-page report<\/a> detailing grave misconduct by the Obama-era DOJ and FBI \u2063during the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. He even brought charges \u200cagainst three known Russia hoaxers: <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/08\/14\/kevin-clinesmith-corrupt-fbi-attorney-who-falsified-carter-page-fisa-warrant-expected-to-plead-guilty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kevin Clinesmith<\/a> \u2062 (who pled\u2062 guilty but dodged jail time),\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/10\/19\/media-shame-durham-after-danchenko-verdict-but-its-russia-hoaxers-who-should-be-embarrassed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Igor Danchenko<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/06\/01\/corrupt-media-suddenly-covers-michael-sussmanns-acquittal-after-ignoring-his-criminal-trial-for-weeks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Michael\u200d Sussmann<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Durham successfully established \u200dthat\u200d the government\u200c massively abused its \u2063power against its citizens but \u200bhis attempts to punish bad actors while <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/09\/26\/special-counsel-durhams-protect-the-establishment-approach-is-destroying-the-country\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">protecting the establishment<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/22\/merrick-garlands-j6-juries-prove-durhams-point-conservatives-cant-get-a-fair-trial-in-d-c\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">failed to get past the\u200d deep\u2062 state\u2019s safety \u200dnets<\/a>. The best Durham \u200dcould offer following acquittals \u2063were strongly-worded\u2063 recommendations to the\u200d same agencies that \u201csimply ignored or \u200din some fashion \u200drationalized\u200b away\u201d protocols to \u2064undermine their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/heres-everything-the-fbi-deliberately-ignored-to-get-trump-in-russian-collusion-hoax-according-to-durham\/\" title=\"Durham reveals FBI ignored key information in Trump-Russia collusion hoax.\">sworn political enemy<\/a>.
