Prosecutors, however, said that there was still a possibility that the first son would be\u200c charged with other offenses, which \u200binclude failing to register as a\u2062 foreign agent.<\/p>\n<p>The presiding judge, U.S. District Judge Maryellen\u200b Noreika, expressed \u200dconcerns about the deal itself and the disagreement between the two parties\u200d in regards to the possibility \u200dof future charges against Hunter Biden. The deal then\u2063 struck down.<\/p>\n<p>The turn of events came more\u200d than 90 minutes after the hearing began at the \u200bfederal courthouse in Wilmington, Delaware.<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden \u200dwas set to plead guilty to two misdemeanors for not paying federal\u2062 taxes on\u2064 Time in \u200b2017 and 2018. \u2064He was also set \u2063to enter\u2062 into\u200c a deal that would resolve his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/third-michigan-gov-whitmer-kidnapping-trial-starts\/\" title=\"Third Michigan Gov. Whitmer \"Kidnapping\" Trial Starts\">felony gun charges<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Federal prosecutors said that the President\u2019s son had failed to pay between $1.1. million and $1.5 million\u200d in federal taxes before the\u200c legal deadlines. He had also lied about \u2064his\u2062 use\u200b of a controlled substance on \u2064a\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-plea-deal-falls-apart\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden's plea deal collapses.\">federal firearm \u2063purchase form<\/a> in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the plea agreement, prosecutors were expected to recommend a sentence of probation\u2062 for the president\u2019s son.
