He was the reconnaissance office\u2019s\u200d representative to\u200d the\u2064 Unidentified Aerial Phenomena \u200b(UAP) Task Force from 2019-2021. And then\u2063 from late \u200d2021 to July 2022, he was the NGA\u2019s\u2063 co-lead for \u2062UAP analysis and its representative to the task force. Last month, he gave Congress reams of classified information about covert U.S. government programs that\u200c he says are now in possession of\u2062 an intact craft of \u2063\u201cnon-human \u200borigin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what\u2062 he plans to say to lawmakers this morning, based \u2064on his\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Dave_G_HOC_Speech_FINAL_For_Trans.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prepared remarks<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Thank you, I am \u2064happy to be \u2063here. This is \u200dan\u200d important issue, and \u200dI am grateful for your time.<\/h3>\n<p>My name is David Charles Grusch. \u200bI \u2063was an intelligence officer for 14 years, both in the US\u200b Air Force (USAF) at the rank of Major and most recently, from 2021-2023, \u2063at the National GeospatialIntelligence Agency at the\u2064 GS-15 civilian level, which is the military equivalent of a full-bird Colonel. I was my agency\u2019s \u2063co-lead in Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) and transmedium object analysis, as well as \u2063reporting to UAP Task Force (UAPTF) and eventually the\u2064 AllDomain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).<\/p>\n<p>I became a Whistleblower, through a PPD-19 Urgent Concern filing with\u200b the Intelligence \u2063Community Inspector\u200d General (ICIG), following \u200dconcerning reports from multiple esteemed and \u2062credentialed current and former\u200c military and Intelligence Community individuals that the US Government is operating with secrecy \u2013 above Congressional oversight \u200b\u2013 with regards \u200dto UAPs.<\/p>\n<p>My testimony is based on information\u200b I have been given \u200dby\u2062 individuals with a longstanding track record of legitimacy and service to this country \u2013\u200d many \u2062of whom also shared compelling evidence in the form of photography, official\u200b documentation, \u200band\u200d classified oral testimony.<\/p>\n<p>I have taken every step I can to\u200c corroborate this \u2064evidence over\u200b a period of\u2062 4 years and to do my due\u200b diligence on the individuals sharing \u2064it,\u2064 and it\u2062 is because of these steps that I believe\u2062 strongly in the importance\u200d of bringing this information before you.<\/p>\n<p>I am driven by a commitment to truth and \u200btransparency, rooted in our inherent duty to uphold the United States Constitution \u2062and protect\u200d the American People.\u2063 I am\u2063 asking Congress to hold our Government to this standard and thoroughly investigate these\u200c claims. But as I stand here under \u2063oath now, \u200cI am speaking to the facts as I have been told them.<\/p>\n<p>In the USAF, in my National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) reservist capacity, I was a member\u2064 of the UAPTF from 2019-2021. \u2064I served in the NRO Operations Center\u200b on \u200dthe director\u2019s briefing staff, which included the coordination \u200dof the Presidential Daily Brief\u2063 (PDB) and\u200c supporting contingency operations.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, the UAPTF director tasked me to identify all Special\u2064 Access Programs &#038; Controlled Access Programs (SAPs\/CAPs) \u200dwe needed to satisfy our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-officially-pulls-nominations-of-us-auto-safety-agency-head-2-judges\/\" title=\"White House withdraws nominations for US auto safety agency head and 2 judges.\">congressionally mandated mission<\/a>.\u200c At the time, due to my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ufo-expert-set-to-testify-in-epic-house-hearing\/\" title=\"UFO expert to testify in major House hearing.\">extensive executive-level\u200c intelligence support duties<\/a>, I was\u200b cleared to literally all relevant compartments and in a position\u200d of\u2062 extreme trust in both my military and civilian capacities.<\/p>\n<p>I was informed, in the course \u2064of my\u200c official \u200bduties, of a multi-decade \u2062UAP crash retrieval and reverse\u200c engineering\u200b program to which I was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/retired-nfl-player-calls-for-separate-transgender-category-of-sports-after-biden-executive-order\/\" title=\"Retired NFL Player Calls For Separate Transgender Category Of Sports After Biden Executive Order\">denied access<\/a> \u200cto\u200c those additional read-on\u2019s. I made the \u200bdecision based on the data I collected, to report this \u2062information to \u2063my superiors and multiple Inspectors General, and in effect become a whistleblower.<\/p>\n<p>As \u200dyou know, I have suffered retaliation for my decision. \u200bBut I am hopeful that my actions will\u2062 ultimately lead to a positive outcome of increased transparency. I am driven \u2062in this duty by a conviction to expose what I viewed as a grave congressional oversight issue and a potential abuse of executive branch authorities.<\/h3>\n<p>This endeavor was\u200d not born out of malice or dissatisfaction, but from an unwavering commitment to truth and transparency, an endeavor rooted in \u200cour \u2064inherent \u2064duty to uphold the United States Constitution, protect the American People, and seek insights into this\u2064 matter that have the potential to redefine our understanding of the world.<\/p>\n<p>In an era, fraught \u2062with division and discord, our exploration into the UAP subject seems to resonate \u200bwith an urgency and fascination that transcends political, \u2064social,\u200d and geographical boundaries. A democratic process must \u200bbe adhered to when evaluating the data\u200d and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that \u2063public involvement is encouraged and respected.
