Both \u2062Burgum and Ramaswamy have \u200dannounced\u200b they met the financial \u200cand\u200b polling requirements the\u2064 RNC stipulated and will be \u200con the debate \u200dstage.<\/p>\n<p>Pence is \u2064not offering $20 gift \u200ccards, \u200cbut he has nonetheless asked his base to chip \u2062in with\u200d $1 \u200cdonations. &#8220;The support @KarenPence and I have seen\u200d as\u200c we travel around this \u200dgreat Nation has been humbling!&#8221; Pence tweeted. &#8220;But in order to make it\u2064 on the debate stage we need 40,000 freedom \u2063loving Americans to join us! Donate today and\u2064 we\u2019ll see you on\u2062 that debate stage!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A source close to Pence said the campaign is &#8220;getting closer&#8221;\u200c to meeting the threshold and\u2064 mentioned that during a West \u2064Coast swing, Pence garnered 2,000\u2062 donors\u2063 in one day over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Pence currently attracts 5% support among GOP primary voters, according to a RealClearPolitics polling average; Suarez is polling at 0%. The RNC requires candidates to reach\u200c at least 1% in three national polls or\u2062 1% in\u200c two national\u2062 polls and 1% in \u2064one early \u2062state poll.<\/p>\n<p>The former vice president raised $1.2 million in the second quarter, millions below the $35 million \u200dformer President Donald\u2062 Trump raised in the same period.
