Obamas\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/key-detail-death-marthas-vineyard-estate-raises-major-question-related-obamas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Martha\u2019s Vineyard property<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Campbell\u2019s body was found Monday approximately 100 feet from the shore in water about eight <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/human-remains-found-near-prince-harry-and-meghans-california-home-may-belong-to-native-american-group\/\" title=\"Human Remains Found Near Prince Harry And Meghan\u2019s California Home, May Belong To Native American Group\">feet deep<\/a>, according to MV Times.<\/p>\n<p>Campbell \u201cwent into \u200bthe water, appeared to briefly struggle to stay on the surface, and then submerged\u200c and did not resurface,\u201d a Massachusetts State Police \u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mspnews.org\/post\/joint-agency-search-underway-for-missing-paddle-boarder-on-edgartown-great-pond\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news release<\/a> stated.<\/p>\n<p>Barack and Michelle Obama released a statement \u200ccommenting on Campbell\u2019s death, saying, that the former chef was a\u200c \u201cbeloved part of our family,\u201d and a \u201ctalented \u200csous chef at\u2063 the White\u2063 House,\u201d which is \u200bwhy they invited him to continue working for them even after leaving the White House in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s been part of our lives ever \u200csince, and our hearts are broken \u200cthat he\u2019s gone,\u201d their statement read,\u200c according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/07\/24\/us\/obama-employee-marthas-vineyard-house-drowning\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday\u2064 we join everyone statement \u200bcontinued.<\/p>\n<p>Campbell was not alone in the pond.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a
