Its shares had come under pressure\u2064 after the \u200bWall Street Journal reported on July\u2063 9 that AT&#038;T and Verizon\u200c were among telecom operators that \u2064abandoned a \u200dsprawling network of lead-clad cables, which might\u200d have contaminated\u200d water and soil.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2062 added 326,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/at-shares-down\/\" title=\"AT&#038;T misses quarterly revenue estimates; shares down\">000 postpaid phone subscribers<\/a>\u200d in the \u200dsecond quarter, in line\u200d with the low 300,000s prediction provided by finance \u200bchief Pascal Desroches at a conference\u200b in June.
