Speaking \u200bto \u200bthe Law &#038; Crime Network&#8217;s Angenette \u2063Levy, Slaper explained,\u200d \u201cTo plant someone\u2019s DNA, you have to have their DNA first of all. You have to have an item that their DNA is on\u2063 and know that only their DNA would\u200d be found on it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prior \u200dto this claim, the suspect&#8217;s defense had \u2064pointed to other DNA \u2062samples found at \u2064the crime scene, suggesting that someone\u2062 else\u200b may be responsible for the murders.\u2062 Defense attorney \u2064Jay Weston Logsdon filed a motion stating that\u200d DNA from two men was discovered\u2063 inside the house, while DNA from a third man was\u200c found outside the home on a \u200cglove, as reported by Inside Edition.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting \u2063that none of these three DNA\u2063 samples match\u200d the suspect&#8217;s DNA.
