Kennedy \u2064Jr. and moderate Democratic Sen. Joe \u2062Manchin of West \u2063Virginia to consider a third-party \u2062run for the White \u200bHouse.<\/p>\n<p>If the numbers hold, one \u2062of them could play the part of spoiler for either Biden or Trump,\u2064 assuming those \u2062two men\u200d win their party primaries. And although a third-party candidate\u200b winning the presidency is \u200dhighly unlikely, it isn\u2019t impossible.<\/p>\n<p>While 47 percent of respondents in the Quinnipiac poll said \u2064they would consider \u2064supporting\u2064 a third-party candidate in 2024, another \u200d47 percent also \u200bindicated they would\u200b not.<\/p>\n<p>Sixty-four percent of independents said they\u2062 would\u2062 consider voting for a third-party candidate. Democrats were less enthused with only 35 percent\u200d indicating they \u200cwould consider a third-party candidate. Republicans came in \u200bat 38 percent.<\/p>\n<p>A \u2062majority \u200cfrom \u200bboth parties \u2014 57 percent \u200dof Republicans and\u2062 61 percent \u2064of Democrats\u2062 \u2014 indicated they are <em>not<\/em> open to a third-party candidate in the 2024 presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>Quinnipiac surveyed 2,065 U.S. adults, including 1,809\u2063 self<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/most-americans-say-biden-hasnt-been-tough-on-russia\/\" title=\"Most Americans Say Biden Hasn\u2019t Been Tough on Russia\">-identified registered voters<\/a>, from July 13 to 17. The poll has margin of error of plus or minus 2.2 percent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe survey included 727 Republican and Republican-leaning voters with \u2062a\u200b margin of error of +\/- 3.6 percentage points and 763 Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters with a margin of error\u200b of +\/-\u200d 3.6 percentage points,\u201d the pollster\u200b said.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s it all mean? It \u2063means there are a lot\u2062 of \u201cifs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For instance,\u2063 how many third-party candidates might run?<\/p>\n<p>Left-wing activist and philosopher \u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/spoiler-alert-prominent-leftist-scholar-announces-3rd-party-presidential-run\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cornel West<\/a> \u200d announced last month\u2063 that he\u2019s running\u200b a third-party campaign.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">I \u200dam running for truth and\u2063 justice\u200d as a presidential candidate for the People\u2019s Party to reintroduce America to the best of itself \u2013\u2064 fighting to end poverty, mass incarceration, ending\u200b wars and ecological \u200dcollapse, guaranteeing housing, health care, education \u200cand living\u200c wages for\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/u3NYGUbG1S\">pic.twitter.com\/u3NYGUbG1S<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Cornel West (@CornelWest) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CornelWest\/status\/1665743761551548416?\">June 5, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>West initially declared himself\u2063 to be a candidate of the\u200d People\u2019s Party but later said he\u2019d\u2062 also pursue the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamitimesonline.com\/news\/world_national\/cornel-west-to-compete-for-green-party-nomination\/article_4517c3c4-1f52-11ee-91bc-0396309ebff0.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Green Party\u2019s nomination<\/a>. \u200cSome Democrats \u2063are worried that his candidacy could hurt \u200cBiden.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/joe-manchin-enact-revenge-dems-third-party-presidential-run-imminent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchin<\/a> and\u200d former Utah Gov. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/us-ambassador-russia-jon-huntsman-resigns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jon Huntsman<\/a>, a Republican, have hinted they might run on \u2062a\u2064 third-party \u201cNo \u200cLabels\u201d ticket in 2024, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/2024-election\/joe-manchin-jon-huntsman-flirt-third-party-2024-ticket-new-hampshire-rcna94377\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The senator has frequently refused\u200c to follow Democrat \u2062marching orders, much to the ire \u2062of the party\u2019s progressive wing.\u00a0Meanwhile, \u200dHuntsman \u2014\u2064 a former U.S. ambassador to Russia, China and Singapore \u2014 ran\u200c for the GOP presidential nomination in 2012\u2064 president.<\/p>\n<p>It appears\u2063 the two\u200c men would hope to appeal to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rfk-jr-or-joe-manchin-could-be-seduced-to-make-campaign-moves-based-on-revealing-new-voter-poll\/\" title=\"RFK Jr. or Joe Manchin may be swayed by fresh voter poll to make strategic campaign shifts.\">moderate voters seeking common ground<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/robert-f-kennedy-jr-good-bad-ugly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RFK \u2063Jr.\u2019s<\/a> campaign for\u2064 the Democratic presidential nomination has gained\u2064 some traction: According to the\u2064 Quinnipiac \u200dpoll, he \u200bhad the support of 14 percent\u200c of those surveyed.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not enough to win the Democratic race, \u2064but if he \u200dteamed up with a third-party candidate,\u200c it\u2063 would pose \u2064a significant threat to the\u200c Biden campaign \u200cin the general election.<\/p>\n<p>Trump \u2062has a commanding lead on the Republican side, though it is early and there \u200bare \u2064any number of things \u2014\u2063 such as \u200ba stream of criminal\u2064 indictments \u2014 that\u2064 could\u200c derail him.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>If more third-party\u200c candidates jump on board, a whole mess of people will be running for president in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Democratic National Committee \u2062Chairman Jaime Harrison doesn\u2019t like that\u2064 prospect, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/4091419-democratic-jitters-grow-over-cornel-wests-third-party-bid\/#:~:text=%E2%80%9CWhat%20we%20see%20is%20a,differences%20between%20then%20and%20now.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hill<\/a>. Of West\u2019s run, he said,\u200b \u201cThis\u200d is\u2062 not the time in order to experiment.\u200d This is not the time\u200d to play around on the margins.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat \u2063we see is a lot of folks \u200bwho want to be relevant and try to be relevant \u2063in these elections and not looking at the big picture,\u201d Harrison continued. \u201cWe got \u200cto re-elect Joe Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2064 supporters also worry that RFK Jr. and No Labels could shift the results of the 2024 \u200celection in favor\u2062 of \u200cthe GOP, according to a \u200bseparate article in <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/4098630-the-memo-democrat-suspicions-grow-about-rfk-jr-cornel-west-no-labels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hill<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever the case, Democrats sense that Biden\u2062 is vulnerable \u2014 they\u2019d have to be blind not\u200d to.<\/p>\n<p>The mounting evidence that the president knew about and participated in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/insane-audio-hunter-confirms-100-manipulate-dad-financial-gain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pay-for-play political scheme<\/a> \u2064with his son \u2063Hunter \u2014 piled on top of a struggling economy and signs \u2063of\u200d Biden\u2019s lack of mental acuity \u2064on an increasingly dangerous world stage \u2014 have\u2064 them worried.<\/p>\n<p>The Quinnipiac poll \u2062found only 40 percent of \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kjp-argues-inflation-reduction-act-will-help-hurricane-season\/\" title=\"KJP Argues Inflation Reduction Act Will Help Hurricane Season\">registered voters view<\/a> him favorably.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s presidency is a failure. That\u2019s dangerous for the\u200d U.S. and the world.<\/p>\n<p>Those considering a third-party run for\u200b president in 2024 know they could undermine Biden.
