This is a case in which a \u200ccomplicit\u2063 governmental \u2062actor, the United \u2062States Virgin Islands (USVI), knowingly used its sovereign powers to enable Epstein\u2019s sex crimes&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The bank further added that it will prove that the Virgin Islands &#8220;created a haven\u200d for \u200bEpstein\u2019s criminal\u200b activity.&#8221; JPMorgan recently settled with Epstein&#8217;s victims for $290 \u2063million.<\/p>\n<p>In its \u200c148-page filing,\u2063 the Virgin Islands alleged that JPMorgan was deeply tied to Epstein and facilitated his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jeffrey-epstein-made-fortune-out-of-arms-drugs-diamonds-moved-in-intelligence-circles-report\/\" title=\"Jeffrey Epstein Made \u2018Fortune Out Of Arms, Drugs, Diamonds,\u2019 \u2018Moved In Intelligence Circles\u2019: Report\">sex-trafficking operation<\/a>.\u200d The government accused JPMorgan of facilitating millions of dollars in payments to Epstein\u2019s alleged co-conspirators, settlement payments, legal expenses, and suspicious cash withdrawals.<\/p>\n<p>One message included in\u2063 the filing from former JPMorgan CFO\u2063 David Brigstocke to JPMorgan executive Mary \u2063Erdoes in September 2012 seems to indicate the\u200b executives knew that all was not right with Epstein.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cReminded me of\u2063 JE\u2019s house, except it was more tasteful, and fewer nymphettes,\u201d Brigstocke allegedly wrote. \u201cMore like the Frick [museum].\u200d Art was fabulous.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The filing also points\u2064 to alleged communications\u2063 between Epstein \u2062and Jes Staley, a former banking executive for\u200c JPMorgan and Barclays. Staley has been sued by JPMorgan, who blames the bank\u2019s connection to Epstein on him.<\/p>\n<p>Alleged\u2064 emails between Staley and Epstein show them \u200ddiscussing \u201cSnow\u2062 White.\u201d Staley allegedly emailed Epstein on \u200bJuly 9,\u2064 2010, saying, \u201cThat was\u200c fun. Say hi to Snow \u2064White.\u201d Epstein reportedly \u200creplied, \u201cwhat\u200d character would you like\u200d next,\u201d to which\u200c Staley allegedly replied \u201cBeauty and the Beast.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In an additional filing on Monday from the Virgin Islands, Staley was allegedly \u200dtold by then JPMorgan CEO Douglas Warner that Epstein was \u201cone of the most \u2063connected people I\u2063 know of in New York,\u201d suggesting they should meet.<\/p>\n<p>The Virgin Islands \u200dis\u2063 suing JPMorgan for $190 million over its handling\u2064 of\u200d its relationship with Epstein, while the bank has sued \u2064Staley to make him \u2063culpable for any Epstein\u200b fallout.<\/p>\n<h3>Click <a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\">here<\/a> to get the Daily Wire app.<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The US Virgin Islands and JPMorgan Chase have accused one another of facilitating Jeffrey Epstein, as per recent court filings.
