The U.S.\u2063 Attorney\u2019s Office offered \u200ca\u2062 plea deal on the tax\u2064 charges and a diversion \u2064agreement\u200b on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/victims-blame-soros-backed-prosecutors-for-crime-wave-in-u-s-cities\/\" title=\"Victims Blame Soros-Backed Prosecutors for Crime Wave in U.S. Cities\">felony gun charge<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/hunter-biden-charges-income-tax-weapon-ea6b78d4bac037da24b485985b99bc1c\">likely<\/a> meaning Hunter Biden will \u200ddodge any prison time. \u2063Hunter Biden \u2062is\u200b due to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.delawareonline.com\/story\/news\/2023\/07\/25\/hunter-biden-plea-federal-court-tax-crimes-gun-david-weiss\/70458419007\/\">appear<\/a> in court\u2064 Wednesday and is expected to accept the prosecutor&#8217;s plea and diversion offer, which Republicans have \u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/06\/20\/us\/politics\/hunter-biden-investigation-republicans.html\">criticized<\/a> as a sweetheart deal.<\/p>\n<p>Two IRS whistleblowers have <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/hunter-biden-irs-justice-department-congress-republicans-32d9f33fb0d05c483d76926504d45bef\">alleged<\/a> \u200c the Justice Department was &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/david-weiss-prosecutor-who-gave-hunter-biden-sweetheart-plea-deal-says-hes-willing-to-testify\/\" title=\"David Weiss, the prosecutor who granted Hunter Biden a favorable plea deal, is open to testifying.\">slow-walking investigative\u200d steps<\/a>&#8220;\u200d and that \u2064Weiss told investigators he\u200b did not \u200chave\u2064 the final say in bringing charges against Hunter Biden.
