While a lawsuit against Twitter\u2019s\u2064 rebrand is not guaranteed yet, \u200dthese companies could file one over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/marsha-blackburn-fires-back-at-taylor-swift-socialism-will-destroy-your-career\/\" title=\"Marsha Blackburn Fires Back At Taylor Swift: Socialism Will Destroy Your Career\">intellectual property rights<\/a>\u2062 to a single letter.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>BIDEN BETS ON &#8216;ECONOMY \u2062GOOD, REPUBLICANS BAD&#8217; REELECTION \u2064MESSAGE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere&#8217;s a 100% chance that Twitter is going to \u200dget sued over this by somebody,\u201d said trademark attorney Josh Gerben.<\/p>\n<p>Since\u2064 2003, Microsoft has owned a trademark to X for its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/twitters-x-rebrand-could-face-legal-challenges-over-common-trademark\/\" title=\"Twitter's rebranding as 'X' may encounter legal disputes due to a shared trademark.\">popular video game\u200d console<\/a>, the Xbox. As for Meta, Mark Zuckerberg\u2019s tech company registered the common trademark in 2019 to cover\u2062 its \u200bsoftware and\u2062 social media operations.<\/p>\n<p>Gerben\u2062 noted Microsoft\u2063 and Meta probably would not sue unless they feel threatened by the encroachment of Twitter&#8217;s X on their brand equity.<\/p>\n<p>Douglas Masters, another trademark\u2062 attorney, said \u2064that since there&#8217;s nothing\u200c &#8220;distinctive&#8221; about Twitter&#8217;s X \u2064to differentiate it\u2062 from \u2064others, \u201cthe protection will be very narrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\">CLICK HERE TO\u200b READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Elon Musk teased the brand change over the weekend, \u2062tweeting, \u201csoon we \u200cshall bid adieu to the twitter brand and,\u2064 gradually, all the birds.\u201d However, \u2063the rebrand launch was not without its technical difficulties.<\/p>\n<h3>The Face-Lift<\/h3>\n<p>The social media company&#8217;s face-lift went into effect on Monday.
