In\u2062 the years that followed, we got to \u200bknow him \u2064as a \u200dwarm, fun, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/obama-chef-death-tafari-campbell-found-dead-near-familys-marthas-vineyard-estate\/\" title=\"Tafari Campbell, Obama's chef, found dead near family's Martha's Vineyard estate.\">extraordinarily kind person<\/a> who made all of our lives a little brighter.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Divers began searching for Campbell on Sunday, after receiving a call that\u200b a \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dead-body-found-in-pond-near-obama-residence\/\" title=\"Body discovered in pond near Obama residence.\">male paddle boarder<\/a> \u200dhad gone into the water and\u200c then appeared to \u200dstruggle before going under, police said. \u200bHe did not resurface.<\/p>\n<p>Campbell&#8217;s body was recovered from Edgartown Great Pond on Monday, the Massachusetts \u2063State Police said.<\/p>\n<p>The <span data-qa-component=\"highlight-text\">chef<\/span> \u200c leaves behind his wife, Sherise,\u2064 and\u2064 twin \u200csons, the Obamas said.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of his death, Campbell, who lived in Dumfries, Virginia, was visiting Martha&#8217;s Vineyard, \u200bbut the Obamas were not present, the Massachusetts State\u2064 Police said.<\/p>\n<p>His death is being investigated by authorities, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Campbell&#8217;s\u200b death comes eight years after the drowning death of another White House chef, Walter\u200b Schreib,\u200d executive chef under \u200dformer presidents \u2062Bill Clinton \u200band George\u200c W. Bush.
