Its joint venture \u2064with France\u2019s Safran SA, CFM International, powers the U.S. planemaker\u2019s 737 MAX jetliners and\u2062 about \u2063half of Airbus\u2019 320neo jets.<\/p>\n<p>The robust demand for air travel has also allowed GE to raise prices and cushion the hit from \u200binflationary pressures.<\/p>\n<p>GE said overall adjusted profit\u2063 for the quarter\u2064 through \u2064June jumped 37%\u2064 to\u200d about $1.4 billion.\u2063 On a per-share basis, adjusted profit was 68 cents.<\/p>\n<p>Analysts on average were \u200dexpecting a \u200dprofit of 46 cents per share, according to Refinitiv.
