This \u2063would prevent the legislation from being enforced until the\u2063 day of\u2062 the \u200btrial. <\/p>\n<p>The \u200cstate of Florida \u200bappealed the federal \u200bjudge\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, United States District Judge Gregory Presnell provided clarification on his issued order, stating that the injunction applied to all Florida venues\u2064 and not just the restaurant that had\u200d originally sued the state challenging the law\u2019s constitutionality.<\/p>\n<p>Any venues found breaking the new law \u2064could\u200c potentially risk \u2063suspension or \u200da\u2063 revoked license, with the possibility of being\u200d fined an additional $5,000 for a\u200d first offense and\u2063 an extra \u200d$10,000 for subsequent violations.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit \u200dwas originally brought forth \u200bby the owner of a\u200c Hamburger\u2064 Mary\u2019s restaurant and bar in Orlando, Florida, which was known to regularly host drag shows.
