Cuomo After Doing So With Kavanaugh\">president continues<\/a> to show former President Donald Trump in an extremely strong position, and now he is not just polling ahead of his own rivals\u2062 in the GOP, but he is even polling ahead of President Joe \u200bBiden.<\/p>\n<p>Even as\u2064 Trump faces a slew of indictments from radicalized Democratic prosecutors,\u200b his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-trump-comeback-no-one-is-talking-about\/\" title=\"The Trump Comeback No One Is Talking About\">favorability numbers<\/a> have increased as nearly half \u200cof Americans polled last month said they feel the persecution is all about politics, not \u2062the law, according\u200b to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/us-politics\/trump-popularity-polls-indictment-2024-b2355674.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Independent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s rivals are all in far weaker positions. Many \u2062expected \u200ca big\u200c poll bump for\u200b Florida\u2019s GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis \u2063when \u200che finally <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/breaking-desantis-reveals-2024-decision-everything-just-changed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jumped \u2064into\u200b the race<\/a> in May. But so\u2063 far, that bump has not\u200c materialized. \u200dIn fact, lately DeSantis\u2064 has been losing ground to candidates such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bad-news-desantis-ron-now-tied-surprise-candidate-2nd-place-gop-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vivek\u200c Ramaswamy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ipatriot.com\/trump-wins-turning-point-usa-straw-poll-with-85-percent-but-perry-johnson-tops-ron-desantis-for-second-place\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Perry Johnson<\/a> in some recent \u200bpolls.<\/p>\n<p>Still, \u2062even with the second<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-shows-absolute-domination-in-latest-harvard-poll-beats-biden-by-5-desantis-by-40\/\" title=\"Trump dominates latest Harvard poll: Defeats Biden by 5, DeSantis by 40.\">-tier candidates running neck<\/a> and neck, the fact is, Trump is\u2062 blowing them all out of the water, \u2062and not by just a little.<\/p>\n<h3>Trump Leads \u2064the Republican Field<\/h3>\n<p>The\u2062 latest <a href=\"https:\/\/harvardharrispoll.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/HHP_July2023_KeyResults.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harvard Caps\/Harris poll<\/a> finds \u200cTrump \u200cfar \u200dand away the top choice \u2063among Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>The poll, which was \u2062conducted by \u200banything but a \u2062conservative \u200cpolling group, has Trump surging \u200bto\u200d 52 percent while the next closest rival is the mere 12 percent seen for DeSantis. Meanwhile, Ramaswamy, \u200bwho has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/vivek-ramaswamy-lands-miami-support-trump-drops-fiery-ultimatum-2024-candidates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">been vocal<\/a> about\u2064 supporting\u200d Trump\u2063 in the face\u200d of the attacks, is only a few \u2064ticks away from DeSantis and is sitting at 10 percent.<\/p>\n<p>This is probably one\u200b of the biggest spreads for a leading GOP candidate in some time.<\/p>\n<p>As to some of the \u200dother GOP \u2064candidates, former Vice President Mike Pence hit a \u2064weak 7 percent, former South\u2062 Carolina \u200cGov. Nikki Haley was at \u20634 percent, South Caroline Sen. Tim Scott \u200c2 percent, former \u200bNew Jersey Gov. Chris Christie 2 percent, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum 1 \u200bpercent,\u2062 former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson\u200b 1 percent, and virtually unknown Miami Mayor\u200c Francis Suarez less than 1 percent.<\/p>\n<h3>Trump&#8217;s Lead Against Biden<\/h3>\n<p>Things are even\u2062 brighter\u200c for Trump in a head-to-head\u200d against Biden. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/asian-american-activists-blast-bidens-pandering-anti-racism-order\/\" title=\"Asian-American Activists Blast Biden\u2019s \u2018Pandering\u2019 Anti-Racism Order\">poll found<\/a> that Trump has 45 percent to Biden\u2019s 40 percent. With a\u200d new indictment \u200dsupposedly just around the corner every\u2063 third day\u200c of the\u2063 week, and the media still smearing Trump with every hour of the day, not to mention that Trump is the target of all his\u2064 GOP rivals, \u200cthis result is\u200d nothing short of astounding.<\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-beats-biden-key-swing-state-poll-crushes-independents-14-points\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">isn\u2019t the first<\/a> time that Trump was \u200dpolled ahead of Biden. A previous Harvard\u2064 CAPS-Harris Poll from\u2064 May also found Trump\u200b beating Biden, <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/4012722-trump-beats-biden-by-7-points-in-hypothetical-2024-matchup-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hill<\/a> reported at the time.<\/p>\n<p>In \u2062comparison, while DeSantis \u2064was still <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/new-swing-state-poll-spells-disaster-joe-biden-donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ahead of\u2062 Biden<\/a> in a head-to-head in this \u2062<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-continuous-media-covid-fear-mongering-may-backfire-and-diminish-democrat-voter-turnout\/\" title=\"The Continuous Media COVID Fear Mongering May BACKFIRE and Diminish Democrat Voter Turnout\">recent poll<\/a>, \u200bDeSantis only topped Biden by a single\u200c point, and that is \u200dnot even in the margin of error.<\/p>\n<p>The\u200d Democrats have a \u200csecond problem, too. Vice\u200c President Kamala Harris is more hated than any of the \u2064current crop of\u2064 leaders \u200cand \u2062according to this poll would lose \u2062to Trump by\u200d 9 points and \u2063lose\u200b to DeSantis by two.<\/p>\n<h3>Americans&#8217; Dissatisfaction and Doubts<\/h3>\n<p>The nation is not very\u200c happy with where the country \u200dis going, either. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsmax.com\/newsfront\/harvard-poll-country\/2023\/07\/22\/id\/1128129\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newsmax<\/a> noted that \u200da majority said the U.S.\u2062 is going off the rails. \u201cWhen asked\u200b if the country is on\u2063 the \u2018right\u2019 or \u2018wrong track,\u2019 61 \u200bpercent of respondents said \u200dit was on \u2064the \u2018wrong track,\u2019 \u200dwith 29 percent saying it \u200bwas on the \u2018right track,\u2019 and\u2062 only 10 percent saying either they \u2018don\u2019t know\u2019 \u200dor were \u2018unsure.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden also faced other questions by those polled. The poll found\u2064 that \u2064a full 68 percent of Americans said they \u2063feel the 80-year-old Biden is\u2063 \u201cshowing he \u2064is too old\u2063 to be \u200bpresident,\u201d \u2063the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/07\/22\/trump-dominates-gop-field-beating-biden-in-general-election-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post<\/a> \u2063added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA further 64% of those polled said he should not seek a \u2062second term,\u201d the \u2063Post reported.<\/p>\n<p>One other question\u2063 turned out\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/democrats-shaking-pollsters-bombshell-100-polls-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bad\u200c for\u2064 Democrats<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe poll found that while\u200b most Americans were \u2063not following the story of IRS whistleblowers, \u2063but more than six \u2064out of 10 who were, found them credible and agreed with their allegation that the Department of Justice \u2062had steered its investigation of Hunter Biden \u200bto protect the First \u200dFamily,\u201d the \u200dPost said.<\/p>\n<p>This is all extremely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-rocked-damning-new-poll-americans-reveal-really-feel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bad news<\/a> for the Democratic Party, no matter who they \u200dput up. Normally when Americans are this pessimistic about the present, the president\u2019s \u2063party suffers in \u200cthe\u200b next\u2062 election.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, it should also be pointed out that the Harris poll,\u2064 which was \u2062conducted July 19-20, was taken among 2,068 registered voters.\u2062 This is key because registered voters usually\u2062 give\u200d a bit more accurate read on the mood because \u200dpeople who are registered usually vote in higher numbers and polls are more accurate than ones taken of just \u201cadults.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In political terms, the primaries are still a long, long way off, and many\u200d things can happen to change this current situation.
