You have no right to the manifesto \u2062of\u2063 Audrey Hale \u2063and you just\u2064 want\u2063 content by obtaining it,\u201d the email said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSend the\u2062 authorities. You\u2019d better \u200bif you still want to live, Leahy,\u201d the\u200d email added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Authorities have a suspect in connection with the threat. Michael\u200c Alonzo Rouse, \u200b49, \u200dhas been charged with \u2064aggravated\u200c stalking\u2064 and has been released \u200bon $7,500 bond, Just the News reported.<\/p>\n<p>Although the official \u200cruling in \u2063The Covenant \u2062School shooting on March 27 has been that Hale acted alone, officials have refused \u2063to release the manifesto,\u2062 citing the need to protect an ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nashville-shooters-autopsy-toxicology-report-answers-lingering-questions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Covenant Presbyterian Church<\/a>, which\u2064 operates the school,\u200b the school itself, and a group of parents also want the manifesto \u200bkept quiet.<\/p>\n<p>Parent Erin Kinney, whose 9-year-old\u200b son, William, was killed\u2063 in the shooting,\u200d wrote \u2062in\u2064 a letter to the court that those seeking the manifesto do not care about \u2063the \u201cwellbeing of their fellow humans\u201d and \u201cseek to rob the six\u2064 murder victims of dignity in their deaths \u2063by demanding the \u2062release of\u200c sensitive \u200ddetails,\u201d\u200d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/tennesseestar.com\/justice\/parents-of-children-murdered-in-covenant-school-mass-shooting-weigh-in-on-records-lawsuit-blast-tennessee-star-and-others-for-seeking-covenant-killer-manifesto\/mkittle\/2023\/06\/19\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Tennessee Star<\/a>, an\u200b online newspaper that\u2019s part of Leahy\u2019s \u2064Star\u200d News Network.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese\u200d petitioners have shown\u200d no respect or regard for my family or for the hundreds of surviving \u2063Covenant trauma victims, even going so far as to shamefully deny their victimhood before you, as \u200dthey seek to publish\u2063 and profit from the deranged, hateful, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/journalist-fighting-to-obtain-nashville-shooter-manifesto-receives-chilling-death-threat-ill-go-to-prison-to-end-you\/\" title=\"Journalist seeking Nashville shooter manifesto threatened with chilling death threat: 'I'll go to prison to silence you'\">exceedingly dangerous ramblings<\/a> of an \u2063individual who renounced her humanity and gunned down children,\u201d\u200d Kinney wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Releasing the \u200cmanifesto \u201ccould reasonably be expected to \u200cinterfere with\u200b enforcement proceedings,\u201d the FBI has said, according\u200d to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/man-threatens-journalist-seeking-nashville-shooter-manifesto-ill-go-to-prison-to-end-you\/?utm_source=top_news&#038;utm_campaign=usa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LifeSite News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, \u2062the \u200dStar \u200dNews Digital\u200d Media lawsuit seeking the manifesto\u2019s release argues\u2064 otherwise.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHale is dead and no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/opinion-stop-telling-kids-to-wear-masks\/\" title=\"Opinion: Stop Telling Kids To Wear Masks\">threat remains<\/a> to the public related to \u2064the\u200c events of March 27,\u201d the lawsuit states, \u2063according\u200d to LifeSite News.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no criminal prosecution, investigation, or anything resembling\u200b an \u2018enforcement proceeding.\u2019 It has\u200c been long enough, and\u2064 the public has\u2064 an urgent right to know\u200b why this \u2064tragedy happened, \u200dhow future events may be prevented, and \u2063what policies should\u2063 be in\u200d place to address \u2063this and other similar \u2062tragedies. Brent Gibson has said some portions of the manifesto could be released with appropriate redactions. However, he \u200bsaid, \u201charmful and irreversible consequences could \u200bresult from fully \u200cdisclosing\u201d the \u2064document.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIdeally, \u2062the\u2062 records related\u200c to\u200c the ongoing \u200dcriminal\u200d investigation should remain confidential until the\u2064 conclusion of \u200bthe investigation or any resulting criminal case.
